Problem: large patches of translucent regions on one leaf only. Veins on this leaf and another lower leaf are yellow. Rest of plant looks fairly normal to me.

Medium/grow method:coco coir 70/30 coco/perlite Mother Earth brand. DTW method mostly following the CocoForCannabis protocols.

Feed: and supplements used:GH base following Coco for can late veg phase concentrations 625 ppm / 1250 EC pH 6.1 Drain to waste ppm is ~750 ph 6.5

water source:tap with 100ppm

Strain/age: Durban poison 23 days from seed no training or topping yet

light used: 65 actual watt Autocob at 24 in from canopy

Climate: 72 to 84 deg (don’t have an rh meter)

Additional info: spots seemed to appear overnight but I may have seen some discoloration a day ago. The patches are almost transparent. I recently added a fan to blow on the plant.

I think I just answered my own question. It looks like the leaf tips above the damaged one were scraping on the leaf surface. As you can see in the picture below, the spots line up with the leaf tips. The clue was that I had just moved the fan.

Are you feeding it cal:mag? I’m no expert but it looks like the beginning of cal mag deficiency.

Hi Jackson. Thanks for the reply! Cal mag was one of the things I was worried about too but I think it is likely the wind causing the leaf tips to scrape. I was freaking out a bit since I couldn’t find any pictures quite like what I was seeing. I think it would be helpful to add these pics to the database for others.

Looks like thrips along with the wind issue. Lots of air flow will keep them at bay, and ofcourse a preventative spray regimen.

But the spots should have nothing to do with wind in my opinion
