Auto corrected title meant to say "LST"

So I've read an awful lot about this and I know it is probably impossible to find a definitive answer but is beneficial to scrog an auto? I'm afraid that my autos will get too tall in the tent I am using and I'd like to keep them short if I can without compromising any yield. Also I have heard of bending in order to get more light to different areas. Is this true?

Yes, if you carefully bend and tie the branch as flat as you can to the side, you will get more bud sites. By doing that, the side nodes (which will then become top nodes) will produce large colas, like top ones.

Just be crazy careful, I snapped my first plant in half trying to do that...

Damn well my plant is about 15 days old and the other is the same age but probably too small to lst at this point. This is my first grow though and I most definitely do not want to snap the stem.

If you google scrogging, there's an amazing tutorial on growweedeasy. It's definitely a good tutorial, and VERY impressive plants! [emoji12]

Oh, and it starts pretty early on, too.

When did you begin tying your plants down?
I didn't, I just tied the large leaves together so light would get through. When the first plant snapped in my hand, I just stopped.

The second picture is the broken girl about a month later. Also, the broken part is growing roots, I think I may still be getting a bud from it. :)

Awesome man! So the idea is to expose the other nodes?

Exactly! Usually, you get a bigger bud on top because it gets more light than the others. Any training that exposes more nodes will give you more big buds. ;)

PS: I took their hair down today, though. They do need the big leaves to catch light as well and I got stronger lights that will penetrate better through the canopy. Oh, and I'm not a dude.
