  • I apologize! It has been 17 days since my last post… life takes precedence. The children are 27 days old and Outdoors. They are liking it pretty well so far. I will update the indoor ones as soon as they wake up.

    Early Flower
  • Day 36: Start of week 6

Flowering is well under way. The growth and development from last week is phenomenal. Loads of pom poms everywhere. Lil' Stick continues to steal the show and both Purple Dominas look just lovely.

    Purple Dominas:

    PD#1:
Was untopped and untrained. Has now been strapped down due to the thick density of leaves and branches. Definitely a strain that needs attention & training. A small removal of select fan leaves helps too.

    PD1 - D36.JPG

Trained out and some leaves clipped.

    PD1 - D36E.JPG

PD #2: Topped and a small touch of LST guidance. 4 nice tops developing and staying even.

    PD2 - D36.JPG

Dead flat! You could set a tray of biscuits on there.

    PD2 - D36C.JPG

    Lil' Stick:

    LS#1:
The show stealer. Tall. Untrained and untopped. I may take a couple leaves off the very bottom but this plant won't need much leaf management. WIde branching.

Height comparison: LS2 is in front

LS#2: Topped and trained. Similar shape to tall sister LS1. Much more manageable.

And the weekly full tent shot for comparison. I'll start with last weeks, week 5, and then this week.

Last week: All green everywhere. You can see LS#1 in the back right starting to get tall. Center plant moved out this week.

Week 6: Current. What a change!

    Late Flower
  • A couple days late but here is my Week 9 update:

Day 59 - Middle of week 9, calling this Late Flower for both strains. Will most likely need to get out the microscope this weekend for a trichome color check.

    Purple Domina:

#1 - the hard one to photograph. Buried behind #2 and with one giant fat cola in the center.
    PD1 - D59.JPG

    #2:

    PD2 - D59.JPG

Bud development looks nearly identical on both:

    PD2 - D59B.JPG

    Lil' Stick:

#1: The tall one. I was away for work a few days and this one went a day without water. It was fine when I got home but I failed to check the reservoir and it was nearly dry. Totally my fault. It has recovered well but a few leaves are beyond saving. This one has been drinking the most of any, nearly a gallon a day. It didn't get 0 water, just not enough.

    LS1 - D59A.JPG

#2: A good comparo to the #1. They both looked like this until Tuesday/Wednesday when I failed to refill the res on #1

    LS2 - D59D.JPG

That's it for this week. I will probably update again soon with trichome color check images from the microscope. All of them are just adding size and weight. A bit of a struggle with high temps lately. I think one of the PD has a bit of heat stress but overall they are quite strong and easy to grow.

  • Strawbanana Daddy 1 day 51. Strawbanana Daddy 2 and 3 day 46.

    Harvest
  • Harvest time: Day 75 - All 4 plants came down the same day. Really pleased with both Purple Domina and Lil'Stick strains. All were extremely easy to grow and look to have a great yield on them. Some final thoughts in a couple weeks once dry and trimmed up.

    Lil' Stick:

    #1:
The tall pheno. A bit damaged from when I let the reservoir run dry. Totally my fault and I'm still upset as it looks so good prior. Still looks like it turned out ok.

All 4 were extremely easy to grow. Other than the tall Lil'Stick, I think topping and training out the branches would be necessary. The colas are thick and dense on all of them. If you don't have good airflow and your %RH under control you may get into trouble with moisture hiding in the centers of the plants. I saw no issues anywhere when taking them down. Very easy chop, the branches extended right to the main stalk trunk and had hardly any small undeveloped buds near the base. I kept the RH in the mid to low 50% as best I could from the middle of flowering to the end.

    Late flower
  • 17 days since my last post, they are still growing at day 72 and are getting near the end. Doing ok in the wet and humid conditions we’ve had.

These are from last week, I’ll update on Sunday for my regular… I’ve been in a mental funk as of late, draining me of my drive to do anything but necessary shit. Not over it yet but making a conscious effort to keep with it and finish this out! More on Sunday AM

  • Lil'Stick's day 71. Nearing end of life.

Lil'Stick 1 is not fading much, but is showing mostly cloudy with some amber trichomes. Very sticky!-
