Indoor Lady Liberty- Grow Journal 2nd AKR

Been awhile since I updated... Lady Liberty is doing great and poor little Freyja has gotten quite big...still a runt/dwarf but at least she's put on a little something!
Will get pics soon...

I do but start with the liquid about half way rhru, then add the powder with the liquid the rest of the way to finish,my recommendations are based on me being in coco, still make your way over to the hydro section those guys might recommend something different
@budelee... I have a question. L.L. is ready on her main cola and most of the branches on the way down...however she has had explosive growth recently and her bottom now has new growth that is still lime green and apparently still growing. She is still unflushed... should I flush her and cut the main cola off then re-nute her for the new growth or just harvest? Sunday will be 62 days!

There you are!!!! Heres what i would consider as options,,you can cut/harvest the upper and continue to let the lower mature..The question about flushing always raises some controversy as there are many people who do not flush at all!! I have done both ways and like most can tell no difference in the way is smells, tastes or burns..If you have looked at the trichs on the upper and they are not where you like them to be,let the plant continue until the lowers mature a bit more...the scoping of the trichs is what people generally agree as the best method for the decision to harvest...hope this helps some...we have some help threads about "multiple harvest" times..let me see what i can find ya....

My poor girl...she is growing but apparently she has a few issues.
She had lite nute burn intensified by a the new mars that probably stunted her a bit...now she has the claw on a few leaves...I switched to bloom nutes and lowered her ppm, hopefully that will take out a bit of the nitrogen that may be causing the clawed leaves... She is still going though...tough little lady.

I read interestingly enough that Maxigrow isn't perfect for the ladies but that MaxiBloom is, from start to finish...I may do a little experiment when I have two of the same seeds again to test that theory.

Anyway...LL has just under 300 ppm in her 5 gallon res now...a mix of GH MaxiBloom, CaliMagic and a tiny drop of Liquid KoolBloom.
Will keep updated and add pics soon.
Ahhh sounds like your talking about the Lucas Ratio with the maxi bloom,i rum that as my base from start to finish as it has enough N for the whole grow/bloom cycle..yes research and test you may like it..let me see if i can rustle you up some help from the hydro guys

Heya @witchyhour ,you have way more knowledge about Hydro/DWC, ya have a minute to offer some advice....peace

I'd start flushing her and play it by ear. You can flush a few days, harvest the top, which will also allow more light and air through. Might want to consider holding her open starting today.

If you have a lot of harvests, or just don't need a lot of bud, you can harvest the whole thing at once and use the small buds and trim for hash...

And I started flushing with ph water, ph'd organically, and dissolving like a tablespoon of molasses diluted in the water.

You can flush for a long time, some people do it for weeks. But keep in mind that most of the tiny stuff on the bottom is really only good for hash, edibles, etc. You're better off removing anything from a point down, and from a point forward. You determine the points, but I start scraping anything that's just starting when the plant is already half way through blooming, or later. Those are my thoughts/suggestions.

Also, as you flush, trichomes and yellowing/dead leaves are your signals as to how ready she is to be harvested.

Enjoy! [emoji106] [emoji16]

Sweet...thanks all!!! Sounds about right...! I have read and re-read multiple arguments about whether to flush or not...and whether or not to trim autos...
Last time I did exactly as you suggested...flushed for about a week, harvested the top and let the bottom go for another week or so, the difference being that there is more new growth at the bottom this time...it worked for me then so I guess I'll have at it again this time as well...!!!
The trichs are not quite there yet...there are a few spots that look more amber but down towards the middle and bottom they are still clear and cloudy.
