Indoor Lady Liberty- Grow Journal 2nd AKR

Lady Liberty is doing well...the nute burn from misting is all but growing out and her fresh growth is beautiful...she loves this mars 300...she is already almost as tall as my first grow that was started with cheap LED bulbs. Holding her at just under 300ppm of GH Maxigrow.

She is moving along quite nicely...she has a bit of rust on her...almost unnoticeable but I can see them here and there...ordered some cal-mag formula to try to avoid this issue further. I also ordered a second Mars Hydro 300w ( old white panel ) as it did well for my first grow so I want to add more lighting. May consider adding kool bloom products...anyone have an opinion on them?

If im reading your journal info right,shes gonna be about 30 days old.again im in coco but by 30 days im feeding about 1000 ppm of nutes..i start using the GH kool bloom liquid at about 30-35 days old,and add the cool bloom powder towards the end,the powder is a ripening formula,dont use to soon or you can force them to finish too early..if ya need more help hang out in the hydro section or try the infirmary...peace

Yea...she is 31 today and looking good...a few minor set backs but she is perking right up...I will put a few pics up later today...her calyx are already starting to explode and shes got a few thick white pistols.
I am eagerly awaiting my calimagic formula...My first grow was haunted by little tiny rust spots, didn't seem too detrimental to her growth but it looked off none the less...I'd like to avoid this with Lady Liberty and Freyja both.
My second Mars 300w should be here today or tomorrow as well and will add another level of lighting!
Interestingly enough I had found a couple of bag seeds in my last purchase and they have germinated...quite unexpected and I have no idea what strain but I might plop them in a small soil/pearlite mix just for shites and giggles.

BTW...do you recommend the Kool Bloom products...liquid and powder?

Damn...I went off to my cousins wedding for 1 night and came home to find my poor plants a mess...I had set up the second mars 300w and let it ride for a night, they looked fine...the temp went up a bit but all looked well.
I came home today and both plants looked like death... Poor Freyja was drooping and loosing color in her leaves and Lady Liberty being a bit older only had damage to one or two leaves and a few leaf tips...
I opened up the mylar cover and added a second fan to the closet and a third fan pointed from the ac duct towards the closet. The humidity went from high 50s low 60s to straight 50...maybe the poor things got heat stressed. I added a container of water to hopefully bring up the humidity and will keep a close eye on these girls. Very depressing.

I do but start with the liquid about half way rhru,then add the powder with the liquid the rest of the way to finish,my recommendations are based on me being in coco,still make your way over to the hydro section those guys might recommend something different

All looks well...I readjusted everything...added a DIY Co2 bottle and will cross my fingers and keep an open eye...!

My poor girl...she is growing but apparently she has a few issues.
She had lite nute burn intensified by a the new mars that probably stunted her a bit...now she has the claw on a few leaves...I switched to bloom nutes and lowered her ppm, hopefully that will take out a bit of the nitrogen that may be causing the clawed leaves... She is still going though...tough little lady.

I read interestingly enough that Maxigrow isn't perfect for the ladies but that MaxiBloom is, from start to finish...I may do a little experiment when I have two of the same seeds again to test that theory.

Anyway...LL has just under 300 ppm in her 5 gallon res now...a mix of GH MaxiBloom, CaliMagic and a tiny drop of Liquid KoolBloom.
Will keep updated and add pics soon.

6 weeks in...she is looking OK. I lowered her nutes to just about 200...she seemed to be looking a little hot around a few leaves...she is otherwise looking good. Different than my last AKR. She is taller and less dense in the foliage but more bud sites as well...I am hoping she fills in as well as Delilah did if not better...
The little AKR ( Freyja ) is tiny...I think she may have stunted from the heat...her color and form look great now but she is only a few inches tall and quite dense...maybe she'll perk up a bit.
*** 8/20/16- She started looking better about the top and bottom so I upped her nutes a little to about 255 and she seems to be responding well...I do not think she likes the maxigrow but seems to like the maxibloom with a touch of liquid koolbloom...will let it hover there for a few days then bring her up to 300 for the final three weeks or so before flushing. Maybe I'll try a grow using just the MaxiBloom with a little cal/mag and kool bloom towards the end.

My poor Freyja seems to be a dwarf/runt... She is starting to look really healthy but only a few inches tall!!!
