La Diva Strain - genetic predisposition?

Yeah, ditto, my La Divas didn't like nutes so much, every strain is different and these ones seem to be just happy with bottled water for most of the time. I think I got away with 1 x fertilizing during veg state but in flowering, hands off...

Thanks all of above responders. Batteries depleted on camera. Should have some AA's later today and post a compare and contrast with the Pandora. One of effected areas only. Rose that is what I suspected and why I captioned this thread as such.

Hey Alan was she under led the whole time? I ask because I started my diavolo under cfl and then switched to led and she grew like crazy for about a week and then I immediately started having Cal/mag issues and she locked out on me. I know for a fact that its parent strain of diavolo is very sensitive to any kind of change. After growing 5 of them I realized she was a just a very light feed and leave alone strain! Hope this helps brother...

Here is a pic at 33 days from seed. I can't see it making the "49 day dead line" with any ripe buds unless it goes into a frenzy.

I can see the yellowing you are referring to. It's a lot different to what i imagined at first.. It looks to me like since you have upgraded to the more powerful LED, your nutritional providence is perhaps not quite meeting their requirements. Since the chlorosis in this case is extra-vascular and distal - appearing within newer tissue growth, toward the tips of the leaf-lobes and not accompanied with the appearance of a pH fluctuation (ie. curling ect..), these signs may be indicative of the early stages of a potassium or nitrogen deficiency..

If you tailor your feeding program to the higher demand of the plant under LED (ie. increase the ppm ratios by no-more than 30%) the tissues should begin to fully recover within a week. If you over do it however, you could become locked out and the situation will in fact worsen.

Trifid - thank you doctor for your time and diagnosis. Will make adjustments ever so slightly and report results. Persnickety La Diva--those adolescentes. BTY nice pic.

Trifid - A quick edit. I believe adding N may present a problem. I find no sign of old growth yellowing or fan leaves browning on lower part of plant. Beyond possible trace minerals--like you say slight potassium def. I feed 5-49-19 a few days ago--ever so slight. Yellowing not spreading and some new growth sites unaffected. Next, will feed (when dry) 0-50-30, once again, just a tad and then the final feed 9-50-10 (don't know why the tri-nutes from FoxFarm include N in last phase of flowering.). The La Diva is squat and the Pandora is stretching like wild--it's all in the strain and genetic--interesting when they grow side-by-side. Cheers
