If your talking about photoperiods, you can clone them even at this late stage. I've taken clones from almost dead plants lol.

No, the Jack Herer Auto.
I've revegged and cloned from harvested females before.
But I'm impatient, and it takes a long time.
Clones are great for special plants, but I like growing from seed.

I just went and picked those last little buds.
Should be day 100 for her or something!!
Haha, it won't be a 1/4 oz, but there are a few.
They still have a lot of white pistils, fresh ones still popping out.
But the older calyxes are HUGE and long, very sticky.
Could be a nice mix -- the younger calyxes plus the old over-mature ones.
A bit like the Thai Gold when I harvested her.

Makes me think I should have waited longer to cut...
Those top colas would have been amazing!

They're drying now in a brown paper bag.
Will try to keep them separate from the rest.

I still have one last little bud of my Jack Herer Auto from Round 1, planted in February!
It's very dank, and I'm kind of saving her up.
It's after the top cola was ripped (or something!) from her,
and I left the site along for weeks and weeks, to return and pick the very old lower branches.
It was good smoke!
She was much, much smaller than this summer girl, but faster too.
These Jack Herer's would be great inside -- big, strong, heavy heads.

Thanks Pop22, i could take cuttings and its a good practice when i want to clone anyway lol

Great SM, i must try Jack Herer photoperiod. I see a few breeders have her. Aged bud on the plants sounds nice, would be very amber i would expect. Do you get the same quality bud and yield with reveging.

Some quality bud, same genetics.
Yield, depends on how low you veg for.
They usually come back more branchy, don't have that nice paired branch structure that see-plants have.

If you want to try Jack Herer, I'd recommend Sannies Seeds version, called "Sannies Jack".
He's a top Dutch independent breeder, and has been working with Jack for years, up to F9 now.
He does fems and regs, they're not always available because he is small scale.
He has a bunch of other sativa strains that have a heavy Jack genetic inheritance, too.

 :bravo: :wiz: ....wow, they dried to a sparkly goodness Missy! Good pics, we can see through the shaggy veils and admire their lovely sequin dresses- ...... Tell us about their aroma/flavor!
The buzzes sound on point,... I'm assuming the Jacqui has a bit more of a kick? :eyebrows:
The extra-baked bits could be interesting, curious to see how much ambering they took on, and how the aroma changed maybe? I have a few scruffy bits left on the Red Mandarine that need to get snagged and bagged... they look like ink blots!

Thanks SM, get some cuttings from Bubba maybe and leave Liberty do her thing in a hidden spot in the yard. Oh so clones ad cuttings are a bit different in branch structure over seed grown.

I'm not very good at getting aromas, my nose isn't the best.
Also, because they were cut and thrown in paper bags in a big box of garden stuff, def not the best way to dry good herb.
The Thai Gold is a little stronger, richer, but I should squeeze a good bud or two and really write their perfumes down.

The Jack / Jacqui is definitely more of a heavy kick, and those late little buds... oh yeah, can't wait to try them!

While you're here, @Waira , I'm going to be in the UK soon.
What have you seen that would be good for UK outdoors?
I have Sweet's Green Poison, auto or FV, at least, and went back to scouting G.Leave's Ontario grows, too.

Sounds like a plan Smokey!

Seed plants start out setting up bigger spacing between nodes,
get the plant quickly up tall, into the sunlight, away from other competing plants.
Also seed plants tend to be stronger, as they set roots first, then stem and leaf.

Clones have messy structures if they are already into flowering, let alone regenerated.
And they have material up top first, then have to rebuild a root base.

But if you look after them, a clone can become a really nice healthy strong plant, for sure.
But I've only regenned a harvested plant when I really thought she was a great mother I want as a "keeper".

Thanks SM,

Clones from a plant in vege before bloom would be the normal way to take clones i would guess. The reveg girls are looking a bit messy at the bottom with funny non canna leaves. The mother plant if she never blooms, and kept in veg, she could be used for clones. Clones, breeding, revegging all something new for me to try

Give it a try. Taking clones is pretty easy.
Just remember to keep them in good humidity and medium temps (not too high or low), and they'll be good.

:smoking: Wow, UK bound! Certainly a big culture shock, plants and peoples-
Female's outdoor recommended cultivars are a good start, plus you know I've run,.... Ribbzzy's auto Zam's did well for him outside, even more north than you will be... Yes!- Skelly's threads are a gold mine -... auto and photo for that matter... One favorite was Fruity Chronic Juice (Delicious); Green Poison F1FV did well enough,.. some Blueberry cross did too? ...one of the DP auto was good, Daqui' Lime or Brooky Sunrise?
And of course, we await LBH's goodies in fem format! We should tug his sleeve about that :eyebrows:... but his site has an OD section too as you know,... That Queen's Gold auto looks very enticing, Guerilla Gold photo is a classic... Consult with him, he'll do right by ya!
