I'm looking into buying two of these Invisible Sun lights. I was told that this would kill a 4x4. What should I do to make the most out of my space, or will this be good enough?

Hey bombhaha!
Let’s start by me saying I’m no lighting expert, nor have much idea about this brand of LED, but since no one else has shined some light on this thread “pun intended”
I’ll have a crack.

If you mean kill, like over powered for that size tent then no, if “kill” as in absolutely perfect for that size then, yeah kinda, I’d rather watch some YouTube reviews and see the par testing for myself, but if we can trust the manufacture on this one, the par readings on the website seem great, i believe 600-700par is the minimal par you’d want for growing, in a 2x4 anyway, as this light is recommended for a 2x4 tent, but it’s equal to a 400w HPS, which is a good size light for a 4x4, I personally used to run a 600w in my 3x3 with great results.

All I can say is look up some reviews on the light, find a few grow journals and look through the invisible sun thread on the forums to see what other people are doing with it.
All the best sir, and good luck!

Hey bro. Thanks for getting back to me. Will do

As I mentioned to you in the other thread, the Alibaba vendor is good for it, but two of those in a 5x5 would be fine. It isn't the best in terms of coverage but 2-3 would work in that 5x5.

My friend told me he bought stuff from that site in particular and it turned out to be fake. That's why I can't really go with Alibaba for my new lights. He's planning on buying three of these Suns but keeping one for his space and giving me two. As you confirm, I should ideally have three of the Invisible Sun lights for my space. I wonder if 2 is much worse than three because I've never used such expensive lights before in my life. I'm upgrading from a 1x1000w MH/HPS here. I was told I could yield 2-2.5g per watt under these lights as opposed to the MH/HPS yielding me around 1g per watt

I've done 2gpw with a 600w HPS and 2gpw with my LED build it just depends on how good you are with your plants, lights only matter so much. I went LED to save on power and get a better light spread for scrog and sog style growing. Three of those lights will be 960 watts and a little under 40 watts per sqft but two would suffice at 25w per sqft

Awesome. Thanks for the advice bro. Great to know I'll be good with two if I get the lights.

Yield wise, I''m very excited for the future with these Invisible Suns. How do you think the autos will fair with them? I'll be ordering from The Vault soon to ship to the states. I've been told to get stealth shipping with them. Do you think FastBuds are a good seedbank for autos? I've been told they are.

I think the autos will be fine. Fastbuds is what I'm growing now but I hear good things about Mephisto and Rocbudinc.

Awesome man. Do you personally think I'll yield way more than I would using a 1x1000w MH/HPS with these IS lights?

Depends on how you go about it and how good you are. Too many variables to answer.
