Old Reviews King 10 watt double chip 800 watt led

Update on light. I had to end the grow due to mothers health. I was a couple of weeks away from finishing but the light preformed very well in my opinion.

These pics were taken about 10 or 11 days before I had to harvest. They looked real good and were very healthy till mom went in hospital. The light did very well in both phases and I will be buying more when I get back to growing. The buds were much denser than with my galaxy hydro 300 leds and the electrical draw is only slightly more but with the dual chip you get much better performance. Much more economical than bigger led units and a heck of a better price. I plan on adding a second one to my 3x3 tent and that will only draw a little more than a 400 hps but will have much more light and better coverage. I give this this light a 90% rating so far taking a little off for a smaller footprint of light. Slightly smaller but better penetration. Longevity is the only other question. I will update again when I do another grow. Hope this helps someone.

Happy Growing:greenthumb:

UPDATE. 10 of 16 lights are now defective. This company is crooked. When trying to contact the seller I never get response. I called eBay and they said he changed his username. I contacted that guy and he claims I never purchased anything from him. He is manufacturing these lights and selling them under 3-5 different brand names. eBay says they can't do anything after 30 days. Fuck eBay. This morning I called Visa and spoke with them and tomorrow my account will be credited with $4800. I am so relieved. Definitely do not buy King or Boss brands.

i have a king plus ufo 600w and i am very pleased with it. i had it at 9 inches to get the most lumens to my plants after hearing how close you can put them to your plants without burning them. too intense, the lights a beast and stunted tf out of my girls. they looked healthy, just werent growing till i raised my light to 18 inches and finally started getting new growth at a great rate, not height wise but a lot of branches and leaves. i have fat little bushes. doubled up the hang lines to raise it as high as i could, 30 inches hoping to get a little stretch and open up the bottom leaves to light but it seems to be staying pretty squat. wish i could raise it higher. not the led you want in a small grow space i think.

Hi I've got the 800 in a 2x4x5 tent and It rocks in that size space. It keeps them compact unless I raise it up too but super healthy. King led has a little more blue than my other leds and the plants sure love it. They flower better under it too. Much denser buds. Mine always start compact with tight nodes and stretch up. I start at 36 inches at seedling and after a week or so bring it down to 24". Then just raise as needed. I made a new bracket out of clothes hanger that allows me to connect my hangers 1/2 inch from the top of led unit and for those tall ones I can get it up to about 4inches from top of the tent. You didn't say how far you were into the grow but you should get some stretch even with it close when they start their flower.

Good luck and Happy Growing:greenthumb:

U guys want good lights that last. @BigSm0 makes the best lights around most efficient and long lasting. Mine have been on 24 hrs a day since I got them over a year ago probably closing in on two years. If there is a problem he’s not gonna run and hide he’ll make it right just as fast as u got the light which is fast. Cobshop.net. Check out the autocobs sunflrum here look through some grows they speak for themselves as does the loyal following of customers. I wasted so much money in the past trying to save money on lights and went cheap route. Oh and u don’t have to deal with that god aweful pink purple whatever color it is it sure doesn’t look like the suns light to me. Lol. Either way check them out well worth every penny.

I bought two King plus 1200w, one without bloom switch (first type) and one with a bloom switch. Bought the second one about six months after the first. When I turned on the newer light I could see a big difference in brightness, bad sign. E-mailed the company, no reply. Half the lights in the first light are out and the second light is failing. They were cheap and I got OK results but if I had spent the money on one good light I would not be shopping for another light for my 3X3X6 tent.
