Couple of mine looking rougher, tested pHs again and it's golden, going to hit the charts and books today and figure out exactly what it is. I think it's an acute deficiency now, and have a few ideas what's going on, and the extreme heat is probably exacerbating it. Going to calibrate my Oakton to be sure I'm not giving them wrongly adjusted water, but I suspect it's my darn soil. Got some thinking and tough choices to make. Thinking it's time to clear out my entire (expensively assembled lol) soil stock and start fresh next round.

KindSoil ladies: the Cream Mandarine XL is into flower but showing def, two males culled from the multipot leaving 1 confirmed female showing def too, and the new Tombstones are about to lose their humidity domes:

My soil ladies: several males culled from the multipots with some showing def, the Cream Mandarine XL in the bottom left looking ok but hungry with very sativa fingered phenotype, the Red Poison on bottom right now the tallest plant and showing deficiency too:

Allllrighty, calibrated everything, it was in surprisingly perfect cal., so I'm for sure not giving them incorrectly pHed water. Quadruple checked the soil pH'es, all good. So I think it's looking like either N or Mag def, which shouldn't be happening... But, it fits my theory on why the ones in my soil look less bad, as mine have been fed two or three times with Earth Juice Microblast. Still, the KindSoil ones should be self sufficient by this point especially and not showing any defs. I'm going to have to make a tough choice: either let it ride and struggle, or disqual myself from the KS BOM which I had no chance in winning anyway lol and give them some seaweed (N) and Epsom (Mag), and maybe have better buds. Gonna think hard about it...

In any case my best guess is that my soil stock plus heat just didn't give em the right start, despite lots of goodies n ammendments. Don't think it has anything to do with the KindSoil specifically. Think it's all destined for the veggie garden after this round lol.

If it's cool enough after this round (I got quite some time to go), I'm going to try DWC for a round and will have time to cook up a fresh batch of organic yummy soil. :smoking::smoking::d5:

what did your soil consist of man? mostly a neutral used soil without much in it?and a small shallow layer on the bottom ? or did you fluff it up on the bottom layer at all? just curious..

Here are the wee ones ,and I gotta say only water thus far and they're looking spectacular!! I really really hope i can do them up right. gonna be fun to see if i can perform this all over again with varying mixes of the Kind soil layering and mixing.

and here are the roots and soil from the shallow bottom layer and coco used for the moonstone amnesia.thought you guys might wanna take a gander at it..? :D

It's a base of peat, coco, cow and shroom compost, plus lots of the usual ammendments. Didn't do anything special to the bottom layer. Even washed, pH'ed, and re-ammended before this round! But it's just over two years old now, I just been recycling and re-ammeding. It's time for a fresh cook. Thinking about using Roots Organic as a base next time, then adding the composts & ammendments.

i'll bet if you mix in your 3 gallon pot a mix of 2.5 pounds( i personally weighed it :D LMAO ) of kind soil and mix it with the rest of your potting soil and plug out the middle as ya do,I'm betting you would perform well.and dont let it dry out early on..especially early on. imo its not a problem with the soil lacking actually. well my opinion anways. its a drying and highly dense food and activity and once dried it takes on an almost caustic or acidicly odd condition.I cant recall the proper name of it atm. but i have sen that with a varity of feeding regiments ,from hot soils.topping soil, teas and so on.but thats what I would do and give it a go bro.

I've hesitated as I've not wanted this to look like I'm bashing Sweet Seeds, I understand things happen...lol! So, I've let the Ice Cool grow, and for what they are, they are lookinh good. Some issues with plant 1 ( the tall one ) but I've had to give them tap water. I put some in a bin to let the chlorine evaporate. But I forgot to check ph. Well....... true to form my shitty water spike a ph of 8.2! Several plants show sign of ph fluctuation, but all seem to be back on track now.

Both plants are healthy overall, and thriving in the Kind Soil. The plants may be small, bud the buds are getting fat. The plants have a pleasant smell, sort of like the spice section in a supermarket.

Looks to me like they have maybe 3 weeks left.
