Indoor jiffy pots stunt growth

I just used the smallest airpots for the first time. So far I love them. It makes transplanting a piece of cake and they are reusable. Once seeds sprouted they went into flora plugs and the plugs went directly in the dirt in the airpot.

EDIT: Just looked they are the .8 gal size airpots... cost around $3.50 each.

well out of 1 mi5 and 3 onyx i harvested 3.50 ozs. pulled the the plants up to see the rootball and there wasnt much there to look at. like i said b4 the lil roots dont make it through the jiffy pot, they have to build up enough to push their way through looks like a root plug. so all in all ill never use those lil jiffy pots again for any plants cause the ole lady used them out side and they slowed her veggies down so much that her peppers and melons still arent mature and its been the whole summer and her other veggies she had that she didnt use the jify pots finished like almost 2 months ago and they were all planted at the same time:cuss:

hey guys, same problem here, i put my 3 autoflowers blue himalaya, blue himalaya diesel and auto assasin in pots like these - http://www.gardenexpress.com.au/images/P/Jiffy_Pots-01.jpg
and they started to yellow and get brown spots on leafs (blue himalaya got these today). So some days ago i transplanted them into small simple pots with holes on the bottom. They all started to yellow in those jiffy pots, i thought it's because of watering, overwatering or underwatering, but seems that's not the problem, what can be wrong? Are they stressed now or what?

some pictures would be good and what your growing in

Gonna post new pics as soon as i gonna be home.
I have one more question, is it possible for a plant to burn from nutrients in soil after 2 weeks when it's had been there all the time?
thx for reply!

i would say you would see it in the first week and you may have transplant shock

What kind of water are you using on your plants.
Tap, Rain, Bottled?

Its possible you might have salt build up

At start I used some tap water, which has stayed for 3 days in open bottle, then i bought some bottled water at the shop, and all the time it's getting worse, only new grow on auto assasin yesterday was pretty nice, leaves were standing up.
I thought that I overwatered them, and then I watered them only when I transplanted them to those simple little pots with drain holes, it was on friday evening, now I watered them only today, and left home then, so I can't see how they reacted.
This thing kills me, cause it's first grow, I think you can understand. My babies are dying :help:

I do understand, I had my babies recently die from damping off

Do you have a water softner hooked up in your house? If so you definitely have salt build in your plants
