It's time to break my hiatus. After many successful auto grows and one failed photo grow, I have decided to get back on the horse. I germed and planted one Jet 47 fem. It is in a small circle of rock wool, in a large net pot with hydroton. Air pump and water pump are hooked up with drips running and air stone bubbling. I have only used technoflora nutes in the past and it has worked out great! I can yield anywhere from 3 to 7 ozs per plant.
specs
-thrive alive b1 red
-sugar daddy
-small cfl
-deep water culture hydroponic

I got a 150 watt hps and a 400 watt digital Metal halide and hps switchable. This is my favorite way to grow autos but not many people do it. If there is enough interest I will do a thread on how to make a one plant DWC system. I would also like some tips from whoever has grown Jet 47 before. I am a huge fan of stitch and have grown many other of his strains but never jet 47.

Welcome to the site!
Looking forward to your threads and journal(s)

What up bro. Im interested to see how yours turn out. I grew an eight pack of reg j 47 beans this last year. Out of eight i got 4 males, 3 females, and one bean i lost through damping off (totally my fault) I only got to enjoy the smoke off of one almost mature female. (couple pics of preflower below hope you don't mind bro) I had to pull her cause she hermied on me late in flowering which i attribute to heat stress. Of all my males one hermied on me also but possibly due to me throwing massive amounts of nutes at it just too see if it could take it. The smoke off the almost mature one was decent. Excellent flavor through and through, just no oumph. But remember i cut it down prolly a month early. My other two females were runts and i culled one, put one outside to finish. Better smoke off the immature runts than off the immature giant pheno.

Welcome to AFN. You're in for a real treat. Jet47 is one of my favorites. Great smell and taste, very fruity, with a well balanced high/stone. I grew some outdoors a very years ago. Just about finished that up so recently bought a back of regular seeds. Planning on growing those indoors for my next grow in about 2 months. Good luck with your grow.
