Jean-O's Show Grows 2024 Jean-O's Genetics Battle Royal 2023 January 8th through April 20th

I know exactly what I would start if I were to participate. I want to, but I already committed to photos this round.
If it’s running just over 100 days a RBF could finish. Mine is right at 100 and I think she’s within 7-10 of getting chopped. She’s really started putting weight on here at the end so I e been having to take some of the heavier tops to keep them off the ground.

I just went and took a look at what I've got stashed away.... not sure which one to pick.

@Jean-O - Do they need to be in a sealed pack to participate? I've got a few older ones labeled in tubes.

I'm leaning towards Straw Dog or Grape Cheese. If it needs to be a sealed pack then Blue Dog S1, I know it's one of your long term projects as well.

I was hoping to get the prize beans out for the OD comp before I started this up but I was running out of time to get this started so I can finish it before I get next years OD started up and things get busy again. Such is life though not everything goes to plan.
And me thinks @Waira passed out on the keyboard or somtin  jkjk.. i'm thinkin a RBF outdoors next summer would be a hoot :smoking:
:rolleyes2:  :rolleyes2: ... if only they paid me to be on time,...

:haha: .... sorry Jean, I am late this year :baghead:... If I had known you were hanging off this I'd have tackled it sooner... It is PITA, time consuming basically...
I don't know if a week-10 days jams you up on this Battle, but that's how long the Polls will be open so if you want to wait on the start, or extend the deadline a bit, that's an option at least...
Of course I'll gladly help you here as well! Not much to tinker with, the Threadmark system is usable by all so you need not babysit every update, make them do it- :smoking: Once you see the option/tools in Threadmarks for listing thread-marked posts it'll be snap to review just the necessary postings. I think there might be a tutorial on it's use too? @Mañ'O'Green

In any case, thanks you so much for engaging like you do and your continued generosity to AFN- :thanks:  :bighug:

@Kyote Rootbeer Float! Has anybody ran that density monster OD's yet? That's my only worry about her outside, those granite nuggs might be tough to hold the Rots off of,... Then again, folks do have access to RotBlock/Phyter now, and I know Bryan wants to do another G&S gig in conjunction with the OD A-P Comp', or a separate gig- :greenthumb:
As for my girl, I can't keep me snoot outta the damn jar- ... run her however you can mate!

@Jean-O -- Legend's aroma still evolving! I swear, now she smells similar to a orange-cranberry muffin with a drop of menthol on top-... truly a unique aroma to my nose, and packs a serious punch too!

Pretty simple I think most all us cultivators know or should how but if not here link auntie started:d5:... Are there specific threadmark label we need to using for this? For G&S there is only 7 milestones wanted to be labeled where this would be a few more:shrug:

well no link it is in the CC section pinned to the top "threadmark for dummies"

Hmm…tempting…I have some Blue Dog seeds left from way back when and my tent will be freed up in the new year…

I'm not sure, since this is Jean's gigga-doola I'll leave it up to him to determine what updates and such will be required to get into the polls... :smoking:

If the judging is based on the overall plant and buds I’d say go with straw dog mine were absolutely beautiful plants that gave me nice frosty buds.

I'm confused
Welcome to my life I have 6 kids o

No they don't have to be sealed. I added the package to the germination pic just for proof of genetics.
I'm a huge fan of the Blue Dog, I've been working that line for about 5 years now. The S1 beans came from the original F1 cross before the Backcrss to the Blue Cheese at F3. It's a F5 now I'm hoping to do a new drop with the F6 or IBL line here this spring. It's the only IBL strain I have currently.

I'm still trying to learn the threadmarks but I was thinking that if the were labeled with the strain name and the week that they are in and updateded once a week. I think that's how the battles usually go.

I don't think I'm anywhere close to being overwhelmed yet so there is still room
It would be great to have ya on board
