Quick update from Saturday 12/17.

Tall on the left short on the right. I forgot which number goes to which so that works better.

Kind of a funky smell starting to form cant describe it well.

The big difference is tall has more branches and slightly smaller buds and short has way less buds they are chunkier though. Tall is also a very hungry girl. I typically stop supplementing around week four and they go into a gradual fade till harvest. I flipped these November first but was guessing on going 10 weeks so I stopped feeding last week and it is showing on the leaves already. Short just seems to be chugging along.

This weekend I'll re read through this and get a list of the participants so far around. I usually try to run things fairly loosely with structure as far as rules or whatever go.
@Waira is here to help me out along the way if we run into any hiccups along the journey!

I'll probably start the battle in its own Thread when the time comes and tag all of the contestants in when I put out the germination code. I do plan on dropping the code on the 5th for a 72 hour pre soak so that seedlings can hit the grow media around the 8th. I'll repost the guidelines in the battle thread also.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the amazing grows through this fun journey

Hey @Jean-O curious I don't do a 72hr soak I only soak for 3-5 hr... So should I just plan on having my beans in the media on the 8th? don't wanna head start but don't wanna be behind either

I don't really think it matters either way. Its not going to matter if plants finish faster than others with how the voting will go. I went with the full plant for the vote so I would think size will probably be beneficial as well as capturing the essence of the flowers in the pic.

I will hopefully have more to come in the future! I was really wanting to do a solo cup comp and switched my mind right at the last moment with this one for my first comp.

I'm getting that list around finally so I can get the actual battle thread set up, Geez its like I have 5 daughters and have no idea of what a time frame looks like. Oops wait that is my reality lol.... Now that Christmas is over and I can breath a bit again I have some spare time this week to get that set up and get everyone tagged in on it.
Im getting pretty excited every day it draws closer! I can't wait to see some big beauties grown out
