Its smelling like a dank fest in the cab for sure. They are all loaded with the beans another successful run for sure and a good thing with WMN only having 2 beans left of it.---- ...hotties gettin' hotter my man!
..... That StiltBear is very 3BOG in her looks...
....WMN and RP look so preggo's now- ...great to see WMN so well loaded, now you can really pan for more gold from this breeding!
What does RP smell like? Those pheno's are usually quite different....
....Grape Cheese, damn I wish I could smell her!
How goes it! Im trying to do a little pollinating here! Its sure been a fun and educational journey for sure learning along my way. Several different ways out there to make crosses I use colloidal silver to reverse female plants for pollen. Lots of good info on you tube and here on AFN all over the web. Ive bought a few books here lately that have been pretty good reads. Thanks for stopping inYou are creating your own genetics, I am jealous, might create some crosses of my own someday.. So I will be following along!
From my understanding from what I have read is that it is kind of a mutant gene and is not super easy to pass the trait. I did a back cross with the triploid pollen to try to lock in the trait probably the more times I can cross plants with that trait the more I can lock it in. I also read how it reduce fertility also though. I would think your best option would be to clone the plant with the trait and reverse one for pollen and self out the plant with the triploid trait. This would essentially give your seeds a higher chance of having that gene passed down to them and keep crossing the plants that have the genetic trait the more times you do that the more you lock it in. Ive read up quite a bit on it here lately. Lots of benefits to it and some not so good qualities with it.Hi Jean-O, I made a discovery about my grow yesterday evening and I thought of you right away. A fella had gifted me with some starts of Blue Haze and I realized that one of them is triploid. Keeping in mind that I know little to nuttin' but mostly nuttin' about topping, fimming, etc., could you recommend any methods I might learn about and use on this gal to maximize her tripply nature ? I was also wondering, if I isolate this plant and pollinate her with something good should a male turn up in my bunch, is there some reasonable probability that the triploid gene would pass on to some of the beans ? The reason I'm asking you is because I recall you mentioning triploid-ism in your breeding adventures.
