Indoor Jean-O's Genetics Autoflower seed Run Finish

You are creating your own genetics, I am jealous, might create some crosses of my own someday.. So I will be following along!

:yay::spels:---- ...hotties gettin' hotter my man! :d5:

..... That StiltBear is very 3BOG in her looks...
....WMN and RP look so preggo's now- :yay:...great to see WMN so well loaded, now you can really pan for more gold from this breeding!
What does RP smell like? Those pheno's are usually quite different....

....Grape Cheese, damn I wish I could smell her!
Its smelling like a dank fest in the cab for sure. They are all loaded with the beans another successful run for sure and a good thing with WMN only having 2 beans left of it.

The RP has a very interesting aroma, its fruity and sour with some skunky pepper. IMO it smells like sour baby shit. Ive got 6 kids I remember the smell all to well lol. She may go over ripe so the beans can mature fully I really want to give her another week so the beans can be 6 weeks from pollination but its quite amber already( actually most the trichomes are pink ) more so than I usually run the plants but I think the beans are more important at this time.

The Stilton had to be tied up she got super heavy and just wanted to lay out. Im thinking about a week left on that one also I checked a few of the lower beans and they seam ripe just waiting for a little more amber on the flower from her. I may put her outside to finish up this week looks like it will be decent.

The Grape Cheese is some dankness for sure. One of the wildest aroma's. The flower is super tasty and the rosin is the whoop!

How goes it! Im trying to do a little pollinating here! Its sure been a fun and educational journey for sure learning along my way. Several different ways out there to make crosses I use colloidal silver to reverse female plants for pollen. Lots of good info on you tube and here on AFN all over the web. Ive bought a few books here lately that have been pretty good reads. Thanks for stopping in

The garden is really popping now... Forecast for frost is 100% getting close with a few of them and over half way with the others! Its warmed up enough so I can vent the cab outside and not a moment too soon... This grow is loud.

Hi Jean-O, I made a discovery about my grow yesterday evening and I thought of you right away. A fella had gifted me with some starts of Blue Haze and I realized that one of them is triploid. Keeping in mind that I know little to nuttin' but mostly nuttin' about topping, fimming, etc., could you recommend any methods I might learn about and use on this gal to maximize her tripply nature ? I was also wondering, if I isolate this plant and pollinate her with something good should a male turn up in my bunch, is there some reasonable probability that the triploid gene would pass on to some of the beans ? The reason I'm asking you is because I recall you mentioning triploid-ism in your breeding adventures.

From my understanding from what I have read is that it is kind of a mutant gene and is not super easy to pass the trait. I did a back cross with the triploid pollen to try to lock in the trait probably the more times I can cross plants with that trait the more I can lock it in. I also read how it reduce fertility also though. I would think your best option would be to clone the plant with the trait and reverse one for pollen and self out the plant with the triploid trait. This would essentially give your seeds a higher chance of having that gene passed down to them and keep crossing the plants that have the genetic trait the more times you do that the more you lock it in. Ive read up quite a bit on it here lately. Lots of benefits to it and some not so good qualities with it.

As far as training techniques I like to use a lot LST is a good one, Kushman Chiropractic is one I like to use in pre flower and into the first week of flower. I like to FIM and super crop the photo's, topping is a good option also. So with FIM you want sharp fingernails or at least IMO a sharp thumb nail is best and you just pinch the top node kind of shearing but not removing the top of the leaves giving the sides time to catch up. Topping you remove the entire top node of the plant it can be done at different levels I usually spread out the top and take just the very tip of it. LST you can just bend over the main branch and tie it down letting the lowers create an even canopy which is what I use with the auto's. Kushman Chiropractic is best seen on youtube Kyle Kushman shows it and describes it pretty good on there. But basically you crack the stalk in-between nodes all the way up the plant which opens the plant up and allows for better nutrient uptake. Supercropping you actually twist and I usually break the branch a little but you just loosen it up so you can lay it over and it usually will recover in a day or so. Lots of good videos on you tube again. Scrog nets are always nice for opening up a plant if you want easy training.

Stilton x 3 BOG mother plant is finished... I cut and hung her in pieces because she is very full and heavy. She got pretty loud in the last few weeks of her life. This plant changed terp profiles more times than I can count the smells were all over the place. She finished with a super gassy chemical funk with some rotten foot smell... Pretty dank. 81 days from seed to harvest and 65 days in flower, a pretty quick hearty plant. She was crossed with Blue Dog pollen for her offspring. One thing I didn't like about her was when the flowers got heavy she just wanted to fall all over the place and had to be tied up to keep the branches from falling all over.
