Probably find some good weed while I'm at it ha ha

Yeah i am sure that wouldnt be a problem!!

Hey dont overlook the east either...ontario has absolutely world class fishing, and there is farrrrr more species to select to fish for!! I love the west, but as soon as i found out walleye are pretty much non existent in BC i was out :D

I rat people out for snagging chum salmon. You can only fish two rivers in this state legally for them, why be unethical and harm them? So I follow my code and call the State Police. It's like a thousand dollar fine first offense dependent on species. They can take your home, boat, cars, etc. third offense dependent on severity. They are the hardest fighting of the big five pacific salmon when in the ocean, in my opinion. I got one a few years ago I accidentally retained thinking it was a Tule, which have amazing eggs. I felt bad but smoked it to not waste it, cured the small eggs (they caught winter steel!) and buried the carcass where I plant Dahlias one spring. Not guilty one bit about a simple mistake.

We almost always got "Beasters" growing up. Everyone complained but damn I love the mango taste I remember. I would be in heaven in BC cause they have Fraser River sturgeon, nothing gets me going like 9' sturgeon hurling themselves repetitively into the air! We have the Columbia and Willamette (had many 50-70 fish days of catch and release of 36-60" fish cause I seriously didn't know how delicious they are). But then in retrospect I realized they are so threatened its good a force like me wasn't decimating them all those years. They can take up to and over 50 to spawn.

Thats the problem around here....the fish cops wont come(if there is any cell service at all, many places there isnt)...they are spread far too thin to do anything about snaggers....if you want to twart snagging around here you have to be ready to call them on. Makes for some pretty intense situations!! Been there a couple of times.

Thats why you always carry a valve core remover and a sharpie to leave a pleasant note on the windshield...

Sit in the seam there... 45.404128, -122.647795 when the coho are coming through, 35- 40' of flowing water in the seam and put a shrimp on the bottom with clam scent on your leader... 50+ fish days are the normal on sturgeon and if you aren't getting bites but everything says you should, move inches at a time to one side or the other cause they are lazy as crap.

Perfect night for pit fire, cold beers, a few good friends..and some home grown.

Life is good.
