I might be what you would call a “snow flake” bc of my political beliefs but I’ll tell you what: We “snowflakes” were the only ones on the front line in California, getting medical marijuana passed. I and my friends were the only ones in my city gathering signatures in the 90s to get prop 215 on the ballot so voters could decide. (I got to go to the very first dispensary n Dennis Peron’s San Fran apartment and to the second dispensary grand opening after prop 215 passed - a multi- level building in San Francisco - full of so-called “snowflakes “

No can’t say I’ve met him. Idk all the cool lingo I guess. Lol. I’m old. Just know it’s a politically charged term.

He did 3 years in the federal penitentiary because his dispensary got raided a little while after prop 215 passed.
You'd know him if you saw him. Short little white dude with a Brooklyn accent.

He's actually a buddy of mine. He used to work for the Franzese family, But found god and marijuana. I looked the dude up hardcore because I thought he was full of shit, But lo and behold, He was a part of their court proceedings, and has a related record in Vegas after the NY side went to jail.
He did 3 years in the federal penitentiary because his dispensary got raided a little while after prop 215 passed.

Wow! I might know if I saw him, but I’ve smoked a lot of weed since then, and met a lot of people. Lol. What I remember most about the grand opening were the tall stacks of plastic containers with wheels that the weed was carted around in. I’d never seen that much weed in my life.

My state is still "owned" by big pharma, So we won't see that on opening days.
...although, The first medical only dispensary that opened here did around $80k in sales within an 8 hour period, So I hope the idiots in charge see that and push for full rec. Legalization.

I think in California, once people saw how easy it was to get a doctors recommendation and so many people were doing it - I think society saw how relatively harmless it is, how much money was generated and how neighborhoods with dispensaries actually became safer due to the presence of private security. I think this led to more acceptance and opened people up to full legalization.

My state has been plagued by "Reefer Madness" era styled propaganda since the get go, So it'll be a little while before anything good happens here, Although even Preachers are researching medical marijuana studies that Israel is doing/has done, And are beginning to support legalization.
I was talking to my mom's preacher about mmj (mom has cancer) and he brought up the topical that the Israelis "made" that's been curing skin cancer, And Mannn lemme tell you what, It was so hard for me to NOT tell him I'm growing out the biggest, highest yielding plants I can find now so I can cure my mom's cancer. I'm going to dry and cure everything until I have about a pound and a half, And then it's ALL turning to whole plant RSO.
