It's all good been a long time ago. I think I could go for some fishing now though. Here lately it's been on my mind. Also ready to get me a xbow and try my hand at bow hunting.
Have you seen those new "silent" Mathews bows?
From what I've seen, my bow = .22 caliber, soundwise.
New Mathews = straw loaded with spitball.
Still on my first pot of coffee, so excuse any terrible grammar or comparisons.

holding a bow uses muscles you never knew you had!!
Being a mechanic makes you use muscles you never knew you had, along with putting your body in positions a contortionist wouldn't do. Lol

Look up the "Mathews Triax".
It's been out for a year or so. I've just been too lazy to go get one. I guess it's super accurate at close and long range, Built for tree stand hunters (28" long, I believe), and is near silent due to their sound dampening.
