Cheers I will do :d5: ,,, I had to lol at my self , when I read above that they been around for seven years, I was thinking they a new technology on the scene
For a long time they were really expensive, so it wasn't a common item to see on offer for a prebuilt PC. The 7 year old was gawdawful expensive for 250 gig. The one I bought 5 years ago was about the same price, but for 1 TB. Just bought two more for my new PC and they were about 1/2 the price of the old one.

I think another reason you are hearing about them a lot more these days is the advent of a new interface for them. Up until then, they had to mimic the size, shape, and interface of regular hard drives. Now they are on these little cards that sit on a laptop motherboard. With the push to pack more into smaller spaces, they are an ideal solution.

I think it's the magnesium, mainly, but im still sure, it just had good watering with a good runoff (it looked good and was low on ppms). So I know it's not overfeeding , it can only be lacking something...
One of the pitfalls of relying on PPM as a metric is that its not measuring individual components. As you know, the plants take up different nutrients at different rates depending on the growth stage, etc. You could very well be underfeeding/overfeeding one component and still see a reasonable PPM.

Took me a year to finally stop relying on that for much and just go with how the plant looks. Not sure how effective that is by comparison, but it seems like a better way to identify whats going on. About all I check the nutrient solution for these days is pH.

A bear needs a break now and then:coffee:
And I was just contemplating another milestone...I've made it through the winter with enough decent stash to see me well into my work/fishing season, probably all the way until I have new harvest. THANKS TO AFN!!:pass:

Glad your sorted pal,,,

I still playing catch up , it don't help when I've had 6 bigger sized pot plants not auto,,

Going to get a couple auto pots and do some normal sized plants ,, I love the small pots but they don't fill the jars :smoking:

Do you carry pepper spray when you go into the woods perchance you come accross a bear ?

Montana Grizzly Bear Notice:

In light of the rising frequency of human/grizzly bear
conflicts, the Montana Department of Fish and Game
is advising hikers, hunters, and fishermen to take extra
precautions and keep alert for bears while in the field.
We advise that outdoorsmen wear noisy little bells on
their clothing so as not to startle the bears that aren't
expecting them. We also advise outdoorsmen to carry
pepper spray with them in case of an encounter with a
bear.

It is also a good idea to watch out for fresh signs of bear
activity. Outdoorsmen should recognize the difference
between black bear and grizzly bear poop. Black bear poop
is smaller and contains a lot of berry seeds and squirrel fur.
Grizzly bear poop has little bells in it and smells like pepper
spray.
