Thanks for the reply as well! It does soften up with body heat, and seems to bubble OK. I think I ended up agitating it too long with the machine, plus it was dry trim, so maybe too much plant matter got out. It looks fairly good but next time I'll use wet trim, and agitate less and compare.
Still gets you really high, smells great etc. so can't complain :pass:

Sounds perfect then tbh! If you're getting melt rather than burn then you've done it right!

Wet frozen is ideal but tbh the difference isnt that noticeable from what I've seen. The main variables are strain and agitation. How do you stir it? To get the best results you wanna do it by hand and spend way longer than you'll want to! Probably gonna get one of those bubble man machines soon as I really cba with all the stirring anymore.

Once out of the bags, I blotted it dry on the micron screens, and chopped it up into chunks to dry. I kept chopping it up, then after a few hours I used a sieve to get it finer so it would dry better.

I ended up letting it dry with gentle air flow, on parchment paper, for a couple days.

After that, I wasn't sure what to do, so into jars it went and into the freezer. A couple days later I pulled it out of the freezer as I did more research, and just burped the jars.

Hey check the end processing steps of this thread https://www.autoflower.org/threads/hash-from-trash-larger-volume-mixing-for-5-gallon-bags.56143/

Variac variable transformers are definitely the way to go to control your inline fan motor speed. Triac controllers will make most motors hum if turned down to low. A variac puts out a clean sine wave which will eliminated motor hum at low speeds. You just need to size the variac accordingly to your needs.

Yes, I have the machine, but I see people say it agitates it too much? I was thinking maybe way less time, and see how it goes.

Thanks, I'll read through that :smoking:
