Yeah that's what those seeds was sprouted in. I should have used rock wool. I put some fly paper around the base on the hydroton. There are little black gnats on it. No signs of any inside or on the roots in 2 days.

yeah, i personally have never found anything quite as good as rapid rooters, as far as rooting and seedlings go, but the gnats they seem to generate are so annoying i do not use them at all anymore...they (gnats)usually do not really do a lot of damage but can cause some problems and clog drip lines if one is drip growing in hydro...

Yeah I always liked them, never confirmed on my end they was the source. I wouldn't doubt it thou. I can deal with gnats, not so much root aphids.

Looking great. What's the diameter of that thing? I was thinking I could get two in my small area but after looking at that, I might only have room for 1.

Will have to measure her when the lights comes back on, she is huge. Only 2 will fit under the 8 bulb. If you got a bushy pheno like that one in the front, 1 is all you would need in your space. This one looks like 3-4 regular autos all in one, LOL.
