New Grower Jack Herer Auto Small Setup

Ok, then just wait and watch, try not to water for a couple of days and then only water like i wrote, variegation is defect in the cell structure of the leaves, so leaves are not 100% grown out to uptake nutes, therefore less nute uptake, because less light ansorption. Smoke some joints and relax, here passing you one:pass:

im not 100% sure but the tds reading will be a lil out as we soil growers.i did the same bought a tds meter,it was only £5 tds meters get confused if theres bits in the liquid like soil particals.tds/ec only ment for hydro/coco growers, not really for us soil growers.
the height of the light fixture above the canopy can relate to the distance between the nodes.tight nodes light close, lanky plant light up high.
the variegation is just one of them weird things we just have to ride out, looks not so good but dont really effect plant to much.
raise the light 6" if possible and ease off on the nutes for 5 -7 days.
flick on the kettle and have a brew.
remember its the plants that do all the work,we just give them a roof over their head and babysit them.

the only thing i think i know about cfl's is they need to be real close to work :shrug:if temps arnt an issue, and as led is so much more effecient than cfl's id be inclined to put the cfl's in a box marked spares/misc..

İm sorry leds are really expensive in my country so until i find a new jop im stuck with CFL :face::face:

ohh ahh i was thinking the 300w was led plus 80w of cfl.opps i read it all wrong thought the 300w led would be fine on its own.but its all cfl's now i understand.
hmm im not sure how to encourage stretch with cfl's.....dont move them 6" like i said before i was thinking for an led.maybe just 2".
sorry for leading you down the garden path.

As Archie said I use CFL in my nursery, and I keep them close, 2", for a while then increase to 3 or 4 " when I want them to stretch a bit. Might have to increase for bigger bulbs. I don't use reflectors and 90w actual per plant.

Sent from my comfy chair.
