Extraction ISO efficiency?

Non denatured alcohol costs a bomb where I am. Denatured ones are much much more affordable. I'm talking 10 times difference in price. Although I don't really do extracts and my last RSO batch was few years back, I remember being pretty good at it.
Question, how much more efficient is 96% ethanol vs 99%? Both non denatured. I'm asking cos 96% is much cheaper. Would there be much difference?

Don't throw it away use Ethanol. I buy cheap vodka and distill it down to 185 proof 90%+ in one of these:Glad i read this in time! ... 3 bottles of iso ... 2 jars of suspect moldy weed .... and a click away from getting the coffee filters!!

Looks like my jars are destined for the dustbin!!
I get 2 - 1.75L of vodka for $20 and distill it down to about 1.3L of ethanol.
The ethanol extraction is equal in stripping power for the cannabinoids as ISO. There are still toxins remaining but Probably not more than drinking a beer.
A cold quick wash with winterization is best for carts etc. Long warm wash for edibles.
After the wash put it in the distiller and get about 80% of the ethanol back and then I cook off the remaining ethanol in a rice cooker. I do a long soak on all of my rosin chips. It makes Sludge. The ugliest stuff you ever saw and tastes bad by itself. I make it into chocolate using my recipe and 3 - 4 drops of synthetic Terpenes to give it a flavor - This shit will get you so high!

To be fair, i don't think I'll get the kind of return from my jars to warrant going to these measures! It's super cool it can be done though!
I was hoping to throw some iso in jar, give it a swirl, coffee filter it out, and wait for an evap to scrape up a bit of goo that would be smeared on a rizla and smoked up! !
Even that process was sounding a little involved for me!!

I did not think the yield would be very good either but 3 qt jars of rosin chips yielded 50g of extract that has got to be ~600mg of cannabinoids per gram that is 30,000 mg of medicine. Yes it is a pain in the ass to process. I do it outside even though the explosive power of ethanol is only 1/10 that of butane it still has the potential to pool and explode. It tastes bad without adding some synthetic terps. The Strawberry Banana makes it actually desirable in my chocolate recipe. Bubble Gum and Green Crack work well also.Thanks MoG .. I sometimes put fresh wet trim in the freezer and after I have 5 or 6 jars I run a quick wash from jar to jar with frozen cold ethanol. The yield will surprise you.
You know how cheap I am I waste nothing except the trunk and root ball. Defoliation makes salves. Sugar leaves make Kief and then hashish.
