Problem: ?

Medium/grow method: Coco with dry amendments

Feed: and supplements used: Dr. Earth

water source: Dechlorinated tap water

Strain/age: Grape Walker Kush, 17 days

light used: Quantum Boards

Climate: 68-80* 50-80rh

Additional info:
I originally pHed at 6.6 but when I checked the reservoir a few days later it was over 7, so I corrected it and closed the lid which was left open.

Ph in coco should be between 5.5-6.1. 5.8 is the sweet spot.
:pass:

Do you ph coco like soil with dry amendments? Or do you just ph like normal for coco like hydro? ph seems high to me but im no coco expert.

Sorry, I should have mentioned the pH range I'm shooting for is 6.5-6.8. It's the same as soil with dry amendments I believe.

Coco regardless of amendments needs to run at lower pH, about 6.0,.... coco is not true soil, adding a few things in doesn't change that. The fundamental difference is coco's CEC properties, which are wildly different from true soil... pH makes a big difference here to keep nutrient ions in available forms...
What's the water chemistry like, pH, ppm (hardness)? Hard water will be a problem as mineral deposits begin to build....
