hiya, No environmental effects only effect genetics by selection of the offpring, not by any actual effects on the genetics formations in the plants changing with the surroundings. the only environmental effects that can effect genes are almost always just radiation. rarely, there are examples in nature of a plant producing more males or females depending on environment, or having simple switches that can occur in zygotes because of environmental factors but not normally.
also you dont explain your auto x auto cross idea exactly... akr-akr x akr-60day? all 4 parents are auto's? if so 100 percent of f1 and f2 are auto's.
if 3 of 4 parents are auto's 50 percent are pure auto's and flower, 25 are half photo and dont, and 25 have both genes as photo and dont also.
it's alot faster selecting one of many plants by their size and smell etc than attempting to change the environment. like if you grow 100 and take some mammoth males and females from them, or some small fat ones it with the smells you want, its the logical way to breed till you have plants you want.
