I don't know much about growing as a pro or anything but my buds don't look like yours.. and I'm having the same issue, white thrichs but not turning amber (day78) .....your thrichs still look a little clear? your buds may have a way a good way to go if they're supposed to get all narly looking, unless it the strain?.. I see alot lots of fine hairs coming out still and mine look like a bunch of clusterd knots (see pic.) that's what I'm not sure about ...my plant is supposed to be 8-14 weeks (98 days) according to the package.... how many weeks is your plant supposed to go to?...I stopped feeding her then decided to keep feeding a little, till whenever...... I can take a little burn if I have to .... I cut her sister down 3 weeks ago thinking she was done... my bad, but still good!...I haven't seen any pictures of 'all' amber thrichs anywhere to be able to compare....let me know if you find any ...I'd just keep her going, feed her a little and see what happens View attachment 136842
Some autos don't turn amber. If you have white pistols coming out she is still growing. When all or most of the hairs turn brown and most of the leaves are yellow she should be ready.
Namvets right reap when she looks ripe go by the hairs and if they are still white at the top of the buds then give more time ok and one other thing, dont forget to use water only for the last few weeks until most of the leaves have died that way your smoke will taste cleaner, less chlorophyll
Sorry forgot to mention she's dr feelgood and the lifespan is ment to be 8 to 9 months from seed but after a bit of research I see everyone's is allot longer! Also it's a pure medical strain so that might make a difference to trichs
