Hi to all the members of the ATN!!
Been reading a while and that is my first post, so... my question is... in a space of
2m x 7m x ( only o,8m hight) would i have heat problems with a 250w hps?

Welcome to AFN. No, I doubt the heat from a 250 watt HPS would be much of an issue in a space that big. How many plants are you planning on growing? If you're planning on filling up that whole area, you will need a lot more light. That's about 150 square feet and to effectively cover that whole area you need about 7,500 watts, and that would be a lot of heat. 4-6 plants would be about all you could grow under a 250 watt light.

thx!!! I was planing to grow about 4 - 5 but with so little hight u think its better to lst them?

Height will certainly be a problem. .8 meters is only about 2.6'. Considering that a pot might be 8", the plant maybe 18", another 6 or 8" for the light fixture itself, and about 12" space between the plant and the light, you're already at 40" or just over 1 meter. Even with LSTing them, I think you will need at least 3'.

i grow in a small wardrobe just two plants a time and i was useing a 250 red cfl and now ive switched to a 250 HPS and ive found no difference in heat from the cfl to the hps, i have a fan blowing between the bulb and the top of the plants and my HPS is only about an inch away from the top of my plants with no problems, i dont even have an out line or anything the fan blowing is fine and i open the door to peak at the plants alot lol
