Dutch Passion Iriee's DP Auto Glueberry Grown in DWC

Thanks DG! You grow is really helping me to appreciate boring. I only hope I can react like you when I eventually encounter problems. Watching and learning!

Day 25

78-82 degrees
65-75 %
860 ppms, 1.35 EC

Plants continue to treat me nicely. Following the script we laid out at the beginning. Besides topping once, I have done some strategic defoliation and leaf tucking to encourage the lower branches to shoot up. That has been working nicely. Both plants are spreading with side branching that has eliminated any need for me to LST at this point. I will place a few stem trainers on them in a few days, but if height doesn't become a concern, I am going to try not to do too much. The plants seem to be doing it on their own! Love this strain!

I upped the nutes a bit to 860 with the last reservoir change, and I expect it will slowly drop to out 750 by the next reservoir change. When flowing starts, I will be adding in Big Bud and Bud Candy, so that will bring the ppms up then. Will keep the strength consistent until then.

I had to turn the fans on for the first time. I came home from a weekend in SF. Watched Hamilton with the misses. Wow!! I was skeptical, as I usually don't dig musicals, but man was I glad we went. Go see it, people!

Anyway, I digress. I had to turn the carbon filter fans on the first time because coming home and opening my garage smelled like a dispensary! Lol! This sure ain't the sweet berry cream scents from last grow. I didn't have to turn on the filters until Flower. This is definitely some strong smelling weed, even in veg. Damn.

This plants is amazing. I would love to just let her grow naturally if I could. If height doesn't become and issue. I just might. Check out the side branching she is building. Very cool.

This is also a very cool plant, and would be striking next to many plants, but she happens to be sharing a reservoir with a 10. She is also doing a fair share of side branching, but I will add a few stem trainer she to her as it grows vertically.

They are filling in the space nicely, all by themselves. Again, I take no credit for this shit. I am just lucky as hell with these beans I have been choosing. I look for the biggest darkest ones in the pack, and plant those first.

Thanks for checking out the journal! I know it's been boring as heck. Wait till flowering though. I got a feeling things will get interesting, as I battle height and space!

Cheers!

:greenthumb: Your going to have a jungle up in there! :d5:

That’s some more massive growth in a short time! Very impressive stuff!

Thanks Need!

I did my first major defoliation last night. It opened things up much more. Will be staying on that regimen from here on.

Yeah they’re about to explode. The improvement overnight is amazing.

That sure was the case DG. I was getting too comfortable just watching. Now I have to get to clipping!

Nice looking plants Iriee! Very robust and they’re still young. Can’t wait to see them develop!

Thanks Dream! I am really debating whether I need to LST them or not. It all depends on the height. Right now I can handle them doubling in height but not much more. I would prefer to grow them out more naturally (with the topping, of course) this time.

You seem to have good instincts about this so I’d say follow em! If these are nearly as nice as your night queen you’re golden. And they look pretty nice at this stage.
