Stretching autos early on is possibly a good idea, if you know youve got one with tiny genetcis. but yea wouldn't be needed with Mi5 or the larger autos.
I was thinking about stretching diesel ryder, she's real potent but real small

Yea, the diesel is what im doing right now and hear they are pretty short. Just wanted to try and get them up a little bit. Also going to try it a little with a couple other plants in there.

Even with bigger strains like Mi5 I still like to see that 1"+ node spacing. Besides providing more room for the buds to fill in I think it helps to reduce the possibility of mold. My first grow under my LED was DR and I had the light too low. Buds got very dense and had some mold. I agree, DR can benefit from some stretch.
