Indoor Intentionally Stretching Auto's?

Hello all, I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or techniques they use to purposely stretch auto's at a certain point in time during growth? Just wondering because i have about 4 feet i can use...yet my tallest auto has only been like 15 inches, most of the others like a foot. I know you can get them to stretch a little by moving your lights up...but when should you do that? Not too early right?

Hey man that's an interesting idea you got,are you looking to stretch them to see if you get a bigger yield? I would imagine the best time would be when they hit there growth spurt and start putting on size,get the light higher to increase stretch maybe..I'm sure iv read another member talking about this,I think it was muddy maybe whoever it was will chime in..subbed in to see were this thread goes

JEMman..have you got any Dragons...I have photosensitivity in there..
I left the trait IN coz I Thought for outdoor guerilla..she would outstretch any low lying vegetation..and lift her buds into the sun..

Wow... that sounds awesome. Nope, not fortunate enough to possess any Dragons at the moment.

Yes, I raise my light to stretch mine. I start when they have about 3-4 nodes and continue till about week 6 when vertical growth starts to slow and the buds start filling out. I try and keep my node spacing between 1 - 1.5". I've seen growth of 1"+ per day from weeks 4 through 6, so almost have to raise the light daily to keep up with the growth.

Ohh yea, i might have to go check out his grows again. Yea, i might just have to try out a bigger one. But do the MI5 take longer to finish. I still want something pretty fast
