i took all my frosty trim from my last grow (about 40 grams of it) and soaked it in just enough olive oil to cover it and kept it in a crock pot for 12 hours stirring every once and a while, it just finished up and from the color change seemed to have worked in pulling out the goodies from the trim but now here is the big question how do i store it? its in a glass bottle sealed, but do i need to chill it or will that breakdown the thc more? looking forward to trying this :) my last attempt at cooking (i made butter) made some seriously potent cookies

Any time I make edibles they always get stored in the fridge. The only exception is if Im doing a glycerin tincture and I let that sit out in the sun for weeks. I've had around 5 ounces of it sitting in the sun for about 10 weeks now. :)

Oil won't go bad so can be stored at room temp. I keep mine in the bottom of the pantry where it's a bit cooler, and dark. I have some that is over a year old at this point and hasn't lost any of it's potency.

I get concerned about rancidity of oils after working in the food industry for my whole life. I've had coconut oil go rancid after maybe 2-3 weeks left out in the open (canna coconut oil). But, I always err on the side of safety and maybe it's not always warranted.

I've had the same thing happen with sesame oil, but never with vegetable oils. I just don't have room for everything in the fridge.

tell me about it! I've got a 10 cu.ft fridge (teeny) and housing all that I need is a PITA.

LOL, mine is big enough. But the wife hates to clean it out and usually lets it go till there is no more room!

I used to store my seeds in the freezer. Me and my seeds got the boot even though I bought the stinking fridge. Now I am down in the room next to the grow room with a used fridge I bought at a lawn sale for $20 it is that lovely gree color that no woman would dare have in her kitchen. She could face total austasization from her female peers.

his story has a happy ending. I hooked up the input to my bubbly tank air pump to take cold air from inside the fridge and now my bubbly tank runs much cooler through the days. The plants all are thanking me. Sometimes shit just has a silver lining it just takes time to see it.

LOL, I remember my mother having one of those color refrigerators. I think they called the color avacado. You're right, any self respecting woman wouldn't be caught dead with one of those today.

I think they had two other colors that are now totally dead. Do you remember harvest gold. They there was that brown color truly yucky. Now it has to be stainless steel or black but maybe white is passable still.
