I defoliate most of my plants, I think it keeps them bushy, it tends to slow down the main stem, allowing the side ones to catch up, definitely worked well on my chem city blues and the photos ive done it too.

The Sodk hasn't liked the tube so it pretty much dead but alive might pull it for another plant or experiment

Hey so that's a cool idea maybe add more tubes? I know that if you water only a certain spot of your pot instead of the whole top that the soil can create air pockets that won't absorb water or grow roots.
