New Grower In need of help

I'm not saying they wouldn't work, as people use smaller wattage cfl's. But they generally are using at least 4 or more. But for the price, the LED @912GreenSkell was talking about didn't seem bad at all. I've got mine about 15" above the canopy and they seem to be handling them well. The XTE has dimmers for both veg and bloom, the DS just has switches for both. And when the were seedlings, they were about 36" above the top. I was extremely impressed with it for just using around 70-80w.

I initially bought the dimming model Galaxy, as I wasn't 100% sure if it would be too much for seedlings ect, but nope, and even having the plant tips within 4-6" by the end of flower was no problem at all....I ended up buying 2 more lights for my space, one old 3w galaxy and another galaxy 100X3w. Both lights work well, but I do find heat is much less on the galaxy.
