Indoor Im such a idiot!! help please.

ARGH! i put a 400w hps bulb inside the tent im used to using cfls didnt realise how hot they get hurt my lil ladie ! top of the buds look very squatted down no longer coming out straight if can understand what im saying :/. The top leafs have shrivled back to get away from the heat! it was only for a couple of minutes but its still hurt her is this going to affect her badly in the long run?

No i havent got a picture the rest of the plant is super healthy and fine its just the top that got abit damaged ive put the old light back in now just hoping she can pull through it and make the buds at top, just feel a dick for hurting my baby i guess the only thing i can do is tlc?

hey no worries...does it look something like this?

thats a picture of my quasar plant that got burned pretty bad all over. It's over 4 feet tall and it just outgrew my space (tent is only 5 feet). I freaked out when i woke up to this but was told by afn members there's not much i can do but to let it keep growing and repair itself.

The fan leaves look ugly and are brittle but the buds look fine and continue to grow. So don't panic, it happens and probably will again until you are used to the growing styles of the strains you grow.

That part of the plant might suffer a little but the rest of it will be fine. You can put the HPS back in, just raise up. Then place your hand at the top of the plant, palm down. If it feels too hot for your hand, it's too hot for the plant. Raise or lower the light till it feels comfortable on your hand.
