Keep temperatures constant day and night, perfect temp is 25c/77f. Temp fluctuations over night is responsible for a lot of stretching after flipping to 12/12. Constant temps in veg create compact internodes. (i would post links to back this up but the mods on here are closing my threads for posting links at the moment, i know crazy right).
