I'm in a weird watering dilemma.

It's the damndest thing, the leaves take a 90° drop. I never seen a reaction like it before.
If the stems are mostly straight I'd bet it was over water for the amount they can get rid of....It's a real delicate balance we try to achieve but it's part of the fun.

I'm my own worst enemy. This grow has different variable's from last two grows. Different light schedule, different nutes, different strain, and I added 200 more watts to the tent.
I guess there is good credence to the recommendations that a rookie should stick with the same strain for a few grows to learn the ropes. But dam, with all the strains to chose from, life's too short to stick with just one. It's like taking a kid into a candy store and telling him he has to get the same candy that he got the last visit.

Yup, so far every one of my grows has been different strains. usually 2 of each strain.

Are they perky in the morning when lights come on? Droopy before lights out? Drinking a lot at 4.5 weeks is normal. My plants tend to droop in the evening before lights out because they've absorbed all the light they can for the day. Once they start flowering they stop doing that because they like more light. Try turning your light down a little/raising it up and I bet they'll either start drooping later or not at all.

"I added -->200 more watts<-- to the tent"

That's why I'm asking. They can only use so much light every day. They're on their own cycle and IMO, lights out resets that.

Your plants look great let's be honest
I do recommend not watering at night tho or just before sleep time (lights out) watering at night can cause diseases like root rot. If you can swap the watering to when you wake and feed before work everyday this may stop the drooping.... I honestly would never water my ladies a couple of hrs before lights out.... hope this helps

I had this happen with my 3BOG where it was being watered the same amount as other happy plants, but 3BOG would be droopy randomly. Turned out to be dry pockets in the soil bed and a soaking moistened the pot and it never happened again. Perhaps the soil over dried and isn’t adequately rewetting? Looking into surfactants to maybe, like yucca or hydro guard I think were recommended to me

Yes, their perky in the morning. I watered them this morning, gonna see if they droop now. I'm concentrating on achieving 40 DLI, previous grows had burnt cola leaves, so this grow I have the light higher, and switched to a 20/4 schedule.

I did skip watering last night, and did the watering this morning. I'm not gonna enjoy this, I'm a zombie at 4 in the morning :)

I was looking at the yucca stuff, but there's so many brands, not sure what to try.
