Hey Phoenix.. Welcome along & thanks for checking in...

Exactly as insert said up there.. Check EC & pH a few times a day, monitoring res temps as well... You'll pick it up.. You just got to hoover up as much info on DWC as you can... But the learning really starts when the grow starts.. & if you can keep your girls happy... They really fly!!

Ok I've raised my lights above this yum yum.. It's been too low for nearly the whole grow.. I raised them last night & today has seen the most upward growth yet.. Another lesson learned... 30" minimum during Veg... Minimum!!
I clicked them up again there now to keep the distance from the canopy..

She really is taking off but I'd say I've only got one more week of upward growth & that'll be it so I want her to stretch up a bit.

Cheese seems a tad slow.. No taproot yet.. My baby's are notoriously slow starters.

Anyway all's cool... The cheese will get her res changed tomorrow.

Genesis 3 part.. This stuff seems awesome in the way you can work out your different ratios... & actually know for sure what your giving your plants. Their website explains it really well... & it's so simple.

Tried a test res tonight there... Hmm.. So the bottles say to set your pH first before nutes.. Ok then I set it to 5.5-5.6pH... Add the G/B/M... Bang 3.5pH!! It took at least a full ml of pH up to get it in range again!!

So if this is the case I'll have to pH up my water from around 6.8-7.0pH to about 7.5pH before adding these nutes & hope it only needs minor adjustment after... Hopefully none at all if I can get it right..

dude dont be ph'ing your res 1st, add your nutrients in this order... grow - bloom - micro and then ph your res to where it needs to be , putting ph up and ph down in the same res is not good pratice

your starting bucket wants to be 1.0-1.2 ec (your choice) ph 5.6-5.7

Yeah mate I wouldn't be using pH up & down in the same res.. I was just seeing what it took to bring it back into range.. Far too much..

I realised that I'd just have to set pH after adding nutes... Like I always do...

I just did what the bottle said to see what happened..

Cheers for the feed chart dude.. That's two or three I have now for these nutes.. Have you checked out the feeding guide on the green air website?? There's also one on the growell website where I got the nutes.. I'll have to price delivery from premier hydroponics as well didn't know about that place.

Oh yeah nearly forgot..

Im keeping the blueberry at 1.9-2.0EC & a pH of 5.8-5.9... There's very little movement really... All calm & growing well now.. The only movement is water going down... I just top up with plain bubbled water.. Everything is stable dude..
I'll keep her on grow for another week.

Yum yum... About a week behind in growth caused by my usual early grow ups & downs...

But I think I'm on the money with her now.. In veg anyway..













I forgot to take a pic of her roots... It's a pain in the arse getting the lid off that particular bucket..

But they are getting pretty bomb also..

I think I'm gonna run her another week on her grow feed.. See if I can't get any more height out of her.

Try & squeeze 12 weeks out of this blueberry girl..

The baby cheese is now on Genesis nutrients...

15ml each of G/B/M

EC 1.2

pH 5.6

I had to use pH up for the first time in earnest with these nutes as it dropped it to 4.2 or something.

She's now at day 7...

She has been slow enough up to now.. From this morn she has looked up for it... Then I go & change her nutrient range..

Her roots are now down in the res as well.. She she'll either be taking off or burning up soon enough..
