Why dont they just charge you $200.00/yr for grow license? My state has a bill which is to good to pass lol, but for $50.00/yr I could grow 10 plants at a time.

Im not sure. Most of it doesnt make sense. The whole concept behind it was to prevent something like qashington happen where price is so low. I honestly believe the democrats thought this was the solution to help keep higher prices to buy there outrageously taxed weed in dispensaries..im surprised this greedy state even allowed the patients to grow. We are one of the only few states that gets taxed twice for gas so shocker for the patient part honestly.

I will be out walking the line selling bags for $10 less then the dispensary and free samples. Illinois is the worst Chicago is cool but that’s about it other then a few pretty places scattered around. Springfield is the fucking worst place I have ever lived. The fucking wind never stops blowing!

Wind never seems to stop in Chicago either ......

At least we have a change and something we can build on - perhaps grow will be allowed someday but meanwhile at least its a civil infraction, much better than the old felony charge ......

Im also glad alot of people who have felonies or misdwmeanors from weed will have that removed off their record. I know a few who have a hard time gettinf a job or did because of a weed charges 10 plus years ago.

Cook County is stepping up big time for removal and we are under 2 weeks away from legal weed.

Think the first to open will be the existing dispensaries so if one is in your neighborhood it should be open - I wonder if there will be shops open at midnight and if there will be lines?

Back in 2016 I was in Nevada at a local shop and it was so cool to see all the varieties!

The News Coverage should be intense as IL is the first State to do by law makers verses vote ....

The Machine in action - they had this set for 2017 but with Rainer it was a no go and Madigan didn’t want to make Rainer look good anyways even if he would of signed .....

With this being a MidWest State neighbors will follow and we are one day closer to Federal Reform.
