Day 12: Advanced Seeds Gorilla Blue
Day 12: Seedsman White Widow

Temp: 74-79°f
RH: 60-70%
Light Cycle: 18/6
Light Height: 21 inches
Water: 3,500 ml Grapey Walter - Feed mix @6.2 pH
Nutes: MegaCrop 2.1 - 4 g/gal NPK 9-6-17

So the girls are just chugging along. Finally seeing the pistils starting to shoot on beast mode. I am expecting she will start into the stretch here in the next few days. For now she is bushing out nicely! Been working more and more on Grapey Walter LST, and I think I about have the spread I want down.only like 8 plant ties. Nothing crazy lol. It's getting there and she is looking to be a nice even canopy if I can keep it up! The smells are getting pretty strong from Grapey Walter atm and Beast Mode is starting to get a nice dank smell as well. I hit Grapey with a full strength feed yesterday and haven't seen any I'll effects, so hey she is a trooper! Really starting to drink too, as it's about a gallon every two days with that girl now.

White widow and Gorilla Blue seemed to have responded well to the quarter strength feed, and I think I'm going to hit them with a 2 gram feed on the next watering. Maybe I underestimated how long it would take for nutes to be introduced to the girls. That's on me. Maybe the extra Perlite toned down the soil, who knows. Either way they really started growing much faster even less than a day after the last feed. So tomorrow I am going to give them another feed and see what's up!

Peep the girls and let me know what you think! Till next time... :pass:

Looks like a looot of potential bud sites forming on that grapey walter. These are gonna be purty.

Thanks! Yeah that's my hope. This is a mephisto bean so I'm highly optimistic because of the genetics anyways! A lot of LST on this girl now has got the spread I want. The little bit of training stress has really knuckled up that side branching at the main stem. Hoping for a nice fatty for sure

Nutes: MegaCrop 2.1 - 3.5 g/gal NPK 9-6-17

So the girls are absolutely beasting out right now besides Gorilla Blue. I knew that Widow would be a vigorous grower as I have grown this strain out before. I haven't tried the gorilla blue before, I hope it's just a slow starter and doesn't keep growing slow!

Grapey Walter is loving life and has bushed out to the point I wanted to for LST we are going to focus on vertical growth and even canopy now as she grows up. Won't be doing too many more tie downs besides for branches that are out growing others. If she can pull through and get those branches growing up, I have created a perfect spread with around 10+ prime bud sites! Go girl go!!!

Beast Mode just entered preflower, seeing the first signs of pistils shooting. This one has more of a legit OG skunk smell and it's just starting to preflower. Can't wait to see how this one goes, fingers crossed the genetics are hammered down with this one and there is some good smoke to come! Never grown either amnesia or blue dream so this is a new strain all the way around to me. Either way hit her with an almost full strength veg feed yesterday, and she loved it! Been doing more and more LST on this one and it's starting to look great. Not as many bud sites exposed as Grapey Walter, I don't think that this one shot as many lateral branches, but still a few days younger so giving it time for some of those branches to grow out and see who can be contenders.

Peep the girls and let me know what you think! Till next time... :pass:

Day 34: Mephisto Grapey Walter
Day 30: Megabuds Beast Mode
Day 14: Advanced Seeds Gorilla Blue
Day 14: Seedsman White Widow

Temp: 73-79°f
RH: 60-70%
Light Cycle: 18/6
Light Height: 21 inches
Water: 3,750 ml Grapey Walter - Feed mix @6.4 pH
1,500 ml Gorilla Blue + White Widow - Feed mix @ 6.4 pH
Nutes: MegaCrop 2.1 - 3.5 g/gal for Grapey Walter;
2.5 g/gal for Gorilla Blue + White Widow
NPK 9-6-17

So the girls have been doing great. They are thriving and the two big ones are really turning into nice little bushes. I'm not going to adjust too much more on Grapey Walter, and just let her grow in nicely now.

Beast Mode is starting to shoot more and more pistils and the growth is really ramping up. The LST on this girl has resulted in some good contenders, though there is not nearly as much lateral branching as the mephisto bean.

The widow is really impressing me. At 2 weeks she is looking great and already developing some nice side branches. I'll probably start the first round of LST on her in the next few days. Waiting for a bit more vertical growth before I bend her over. Either way she is looking good, and definitely getting some better color after I started feeding her. Didn't think I would need to feed, and I held off when they two little ones were seedlings but I probably should have hit them with a veg feed. Hope I didn't stunt them for too long.

Gorilla blue is doing its thing. Slow and still kinda tiny. On me for not feeding this one and the widow earlier. I think I was worried about feeding too soon, that I let them starve for a few days. Either way, the color is starting to turn back to a nice green and growth is starting to really speed up on this girl.

Peep the girls and let me know what you think! Till next time... :pass:

So guys I am a little irritated with myself on this grow. I changed my soil mixture this round and didn't even think about how that could affect the start to the plants. Clearly in happy frog they needed fed pretty early. I didn't feed until week 2.5 for the Grapey Walter and Beast Mode. I think I may have stunted them by starving them a bit in the beginning. I have started to really ramp up my feed for Gorilla Blue and Widow, and they growth is starting to look like what I want to see.. I should have started feed sooner, or next run I'll revert back to my previous soil mixture, because the results have been less than appealing this grow. Not trying to be too down on the dumps, but I think that Grapey Walter is coming to the end of her stretch period and is only about 11 inches tall. Totally on me, and I thought I would have this squared away. You live and you learn, and the two smaller ones and beast mode still have plenty of veg time. Worst comes to worst I pull the mephisto bean and use that as my outdoor grow if the stretch doesn't happen like I want it too. Bit of a bummer because that was the plant I really wanted to baby. Hey next run will be all mephisto seeds though, so not too concerned!

So things are really ramping up in the flower department for Grapey Walter. As I had expected, I most likely had her stunted in the first few weeks of veg and that's on me.... Either way with some nice leaf tucking and removal of some trouble some fan leaves, I am hopeful to still be able to pull at least a couple ounces out of this little bush.

Beast Mode is vegging out nicely, and is starting to fill in a bit more. Definitely a bushier plant, and starting to shoot more preflower calyx and pistils each day. A little slower than Grapey, but hey should mean a little bit larger, as I definitely stunted both of these.....

The widow I think I caught my mistakes before she got too far, and she is bushing out really nice. I can't say the same for Gorilla Blue though! This one has been slow slow. The reason I yanked it and started a new bean really. I don't know what this plants issue is, but it's looking like that will become the one I pull outside depending on how veg goes for the rest of this month.

So quick little mid day update. Or night I guess at this point... Hahaha I did a little trimming of Grapey Walters lower that would never amount to much. I usually leave the larfy lowers and don't chop them off, but with the size of this one I want all the energy going towards the main budsites. Grapey is really getting into flower now, and I am starting to see where a lot of the main nodes will be growing nice buds. Take a peek at some clippings from tonight. First thinning I have done. Next week I'll probably remove some more to allow more light to buds and reduce crowding.

Just a little morning shot of Grapey. She is loving life right now! Look at all those praying hand leaves!

Day 37: Mephisto Grapey Walter
Day 33: Megabuds Beast Mode
Day 17: Advanced Seeds Gorilla Blue
Day 17: Seedsman White Widow

Temp: 70-76°f
RH: 50-60%
Light Cycle: 18/6
Light Height: 19 inches for Grapey
24-30 inches for Beast Mode, Widow, and Gorilla Blue
Water: 3,750 ml Grapey Walter - Feed mix @6.6pH
2,500 ml White Widow - Feed mix @6.5 ph
Nutes: MegaCrop 2.1 - 4 g/gal for Widow NPK 9-6-17

MegaCrop 2.1 - 3.75 g/gal for Grapey NPK 9-6-17
Bud Explosion - 1 g/ gal for Grapey NPK 0-19-39

So I'm about 99% sure I have found the culprits of my headaches this grow. Number one... I'm going back to my soil mix I used before. Idk why I feel the need to change things that aren't broken. Number two this light is just too intense and I fucked up lol. I had that thing way too close and killed the stretch in the girls before they really had a chance, at least for Grapey. Beast mode is well into preflower, but the stretch is finally setting in nicely now that I have been adjusting the light up higher and higher each day. Learning curve and it really backfired for the mephisto bean. That's on me and I'm seriously itching for the second round with these lights.

On a better note.. I hopped on the mephisto sale a couple of days ago and was able to score some Skywalker and Forum Stomper. Special promo for national starwars day, May the 4th, and when I ordered my Skywalker seeds I should get two different special freebies. Skywalker X Double Grape..... Yum! And also some Ewok (Skywalker X 3 Bears OG). I think I'm going to run a starwars themed run next grow tbh haha. The force seems to agree.

As for the girls they are doing their thing. Grapey Walter got her first bloom feed today, 1/2 strength bud explosion. Still pushing mega as high as she will allow, which is around 4 g/gal. I'll watch as the flower sets in but I'm going to push this one cause she doesn't show any signs of stress at this feed level. Besides that remember me saying I was going to wait and remove more larfy lowers and stuff, I didn't and cleared out a decent amount of non producers and large fans from Grapey and Beast Mode tonight. You will see the results tomorrow when I do as well! I might have gone a little Edward Scissorhands on them, but with the size that they are I want all the energy going to the mains and not to small side branches that are coming off the side branches... They look good and are still praying to the light after my attack. This is my first real attempt at a "lollipop style. I usually don't remove bud sites and only remove larger fan leaves, so let's see how this goes! You won't even recognize Grapey or Beast tomorrow!

So I'm going to post a quick update. Been very busy.

Widow got messed up today. I was tying her down for better LST and snapped main stem completely off. Like couldn't salvage at all. I wouldn't have topped her this late, but it was either top her clean and see what happens or tank her. I decided to clean the cut and she has rebounded nicely. Check out in the photos 11 hours post "topping" she is starting to veg out and the 4 remaining branches are looking like they will start to ramp up here quickly. I'm a POS as that's the only plant I thought had a fighting chance this round at becoming something worthwhile in the size department. Fuck it! We live and we learn. Maybe this top will make four mains who knows!

As for gorilla blue idk wtf is going on... This plant sucks hahaha. Literally it looks like it hasn't gotten bigger for days. It's fucking insane.... Idk what is going on but I'm ditching the rest of my seeds I have of this strain. This one is a no go for me.... two plants in a row just stall. Idk guys but to me that's not good so far.
