Sorry guys, got really busy! Well this run was not a very good success unfortunately. Beast mode never stopped veg, and like another grow on this site, it went haywire. Idk if the autoflower gene isn't fully hammered down @MegaBuds but it would have been epic had it went through flower like it should have. The buds just kept staying super skinny and stretching up. Like a foxtail from the start. I had broken my phone right when this happened so I am very sorry to not have any pics, but I will reference the other grow here and you will see exactly what happened to mine. https://www.autoflower.org/threads/eq-does-beast-mode-auto.74532/post-2241858
Grapey Walter pulled through, and produced some lovely smoke and colors. Check the pics! Loaded with trichs and crazy terps. 10/10.
Gorilla Blue came out of the tent a runt, and went outside for a lazy flower. I didn't really feed this girl very much as it rained quite heavy during flower. Maybe once every 1.5 weeks I gave her a feed of megacrop and bud explosion but she was definitely hungry. Either way buds turned out spectacular, and she yielded quite well. Check the pics and let me know what you think!
@Yucreepin sorry took forever bud, but the gorilla blue is potent stuff my man! It's just going into the cure, but right after the dry it was epic. I did a bud wash on that plant, and it was a complete success. Everyone who has smoked the buds says that the washed nugs are some of the smoothest cleanest smoke they have tasted. I agree. Bud washing outdoor, or even indoor, plants is going to become a norm for me. Really zoom in on that last picture and look at all the crap on that bucket. It was film of shit. Nasty!

The budwashing I’ve heard of for certain infestations etc... is that with it being outdoor, or you think it’s cleaning off other funk too? Do you foliar feed?

I do not foliar feed unless I have issues. That's kinda, "I fucked up and need to do something fast" haha. There was no degrading of the terps from what I could tell. I washed because it was outside. Bugs, bug poop, dirt, pollen, etc. All the crap that is outside all the time. I washed with first bucket of hydrogen peroxide and water to knock down any potential mold or mildew spores. This has been used effectively in cannabis cultivation for years. Second bucket was a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda. This mixture has been an organic produce wash for a very long time. Third bucket clean water for a rinse. Dip in and out of the water for 30-60 seconds in each bucket, nothing more than submerging and pulling out over and over. Let the water run into and out the buds, no mechanical scrubbing by myself so trich did not get damaged at all. THC is NOT water soluble, hence why when people extract they need to use chemicals to do so typically.
I look at it like this, would you dig up a head of lettuce straight for m the ground and make a salad with it? I think not! You would wash it, and make sure it's clean and you're not eating contaminants! Why should this produce be any different. As for indoor tent, think about this... Have you changed your air filter at your house before? Tell me that you think that's not getting into your flowers inside too, unless you have a prefilter on your tent! I do have a prefilter for my tent, and that thing gets gross after one 2.5 month run. So if you don't have some kind of filter you might want to think about washing! I know it sounds crazy, and I hesitated so bad before running a whole harvest through buckets of water hahaha but I'm sold! This shit is fire, it's clean, nice white ash all the way through. Just my two cents as always, and I hope you all have a wonderful grow!

That's cool that the bud washing turned out. Totally agree with pre filtering intake but it's not the easiest thing with tents as they are not truly air tight and part of what turns me off about tents. I would love a grow cab with HEPA pre filter as there are two manufacturers that make intake HEPA filter but filter panels are much cheaper. I try not to go into my tent excessively but it's irritating to find random hairs or fuzz on my buds, happens less with the filter but even the mesh screens aren't good enough imo.
Sorry to hear a plant didn't turn out for you, always feels like a waste of resources especially when you have to buy seeds repeatedly. Your plants look great though. How is the smoke overall though?

Yeah I hadn't put much thought into it for my first few grows, but I bet there is a bunch of crap even on the indoor buds.
The smoke from the few that pulled through has been exceptional. I had to chop gorilla blue as it was just too hot outside and she was fox tailing hard. Either way the smoke is still nice and potent! Grapey Walter from mephisto is probably my favorite strain now that I have grown it. It was crazy how much the colors came out, and she was potent potent. Definitely the strongest I had ever grown. I'm happy with the harvest, and learned a thing or two about outside floweing as well! I'm looking forward to this round and I'm already going with a few beans I'm really hyped for.
Meph only run, the three in the bags are staying in the tent, windu in the middle is going outside for flower, and the two gorilla glue are just random seeds I'm hardening off for a buddy.
