Outdoor Idea for a water soure

many years ago ....i forgot this .....my uncles and stuff we would go fishing and what not ....in the swamp is a jungle and people do grow in old rotten logs ....take a old semi rotten log and would tie it off to some trees so it doesnt float away ......now when the tide rises it soaks the log real good and when it goes down it dries out ......This I have seen personally with my own eyes .....It works but this wasnt autos back then .....It doesnt make the best bud and its kinda like the new pipe aeroponic systems .........Who woulda knew it take a rotten log and grow semi hydro in it .......

i was a logger for a while and an a cabinet maker as well. Wood is my thing. I will use a small saw with a short and rip toothed blade that is made for cutting with the grain. Still it is not to be taken for granted but I see no problems.I never thought of illnesses that the tree roots might carry but that is why it is called an experiment.

good luck bud .......this will make ya famous lol ........i know wine does it for sure but thats totally different roots these things grow in mountains and rock they hard tough ass roots .....my old ladies dad is a logger too still old as fucker .....they logg the UP upper penninsula of Michigan ...where i should move cause i love it there .....Ran a harvester up there in JUne ,.....well played in a Harvester !!!!.didnt really do much !!! it was fun tho.....not tomention Mi is legal for the Meds now !!!!.........why doesnt the whole world just let us have a plant lol id pay 1000 a year to have a license or what not to grow and gladly pay taxes on it .....

maybe you'd be better trying something I've heard of and havebeen meaning to try...

basically... take a small cutting (rooted) and drill a hole in a live tree... then plant the cutting and soil and roots in the hole... supposedly the plant spreads roots under the bark in the cambien layer and grows this way.... been meaning to try it but so much going on...

I've heard of this as well but never seen results. Might try it next summer.

me too... and I do all my transplanting watering work under cloud cover or in a rain storm (no choppers or predators spying)

just like growing up in the swamp ....there is places i can go ...well if they can get there they would have to be right by my sides .......ever heard of the famous pirogue from Swamp People >>>>ole Troy is a fool catching gators in that lil boat ....I dont even like going check fishing holes in them things ....but small open fishing holes make great eats and treats !!!!!!
