i think Im gonna give up on Hydro. My rdwc sprung a leak and emptied my 55 gallon resevoir onto my tent floor. Im beginning to get frustrated. Any encouragement and or advice would be awesome right about now. im not sure what to do with the plants that are currently in it. They are only 2 weeeks or so rom harvest. But I need to tear it down to find the leak. im not sure whether I want the trouble any more

Ok I will stop whining now but any advice on what to do with the plants while i fix the system would be much appreciated thanks

2 weeks from harvest you have to somehow keep them going till harvest.after that im not surei know nothing of rwdc.
:pighug:

that just plain sucks
Imagine going on a week holiday and coming home to find 4 feet of water in your basement. The shitty part is there were 12 dwc plants down there under 3k hps, vegging plants, clones, mothers, ballasts, air pumps all under water and ruined. twas a very bad day indeed
I think you can over come that thou....

That must have rally sucked not only a flooded basement but loss of some plants as well. i feel for ya dude.

they should do just fine in a kratky setup right until finish
Kratky is a simple hydro as the water level drops the uppermost roots in air absorb o2 and the lower roots in solution absorb nuets. I'm not an auto guy yet but for less stress I would try a quick dwc for a finish and flush and your roots won't have to relearn how to breath. I know you have to do something now but maybe a auto veteran could chime in

yeah, your right at the end, you could just run strait phed water in a kratky ,,,basically DWC without a pump,,,just make the water level about half full...you can run to waste and dump the water a few times to the end

Thanks for the info everyone. I am using the kratky method. Changing the water every day. I am running a weak nute solution with them to see if I can get them to grow some more. They seem to be holding their own at the moment so it seems to be working. Thanks again I thought I lost them all.
