Indoor Hybrid Dark Devil Auto's

Hello, I've not been around much lately had to stop for a while but i'm back and managed to breed some of the Dark Devil Auto i was growing with the mongrel Paradise Seed's auto's i was growing already. The mother that the seed's came from was genetically weird and it has passed on those deformed/stunted traits to the next generation but it's only effected about a quarter of them.

Mother looked like this.

The other's are all looking fine except for one that looks a little strange i'll get a pic of that later if it's a freak.

They are fem seeds but the one's i hybridised Dark Devil Auto with are most likely mongrels i bred from paradise seeds fems .One of them produced a pollen sack a couple of years ago and i been using seed's from that ever since and been back crossing them back to original strains that they started from because i buy new packets of those strains for a couple of years that i grew along side them. I have not kept any log of exactly what happened because i'm unaware of it until i find the seeds in the buds so don't know exactly what crossed with what but i always kinda know by how the offspring turn out from those encounters. I've only ever found the pollen sack 2 or 3 times, it will just be a single one at the bottom of the plants and that is where i usually find the seeds is around the bottoms of the other plants. I managed to breed it with a lemon skunk but the hybrid from that got bred out with the mongrel again and the lemon smell was gone it seems from that batch of seeds or at least the couple i tried out. Due to circumstances outwith my controll my last few plants were stressed out badly and made a load of seeds instead of just a couple so i got a lot of the dark devil hybrid seeds to play around with. Sorry if that's a crappy explanation!

I understand what you do bro. You used a hermaphrodite to make the first batch of seeds.
You have to look for hermi plants in every grow because you seeds got a tendency to herm.

If the dark devil is your favourite to work with,
I would recommend to do a bit research what genetic is inside the dark devil. Then take a look around the different seed companies if they offer regular seeds with nearly the same genetic background.

The next step would be to breed out the other strain and do a back cross with the dark devil.

Look at the breeding section there are some very interesting threads.

I have a Fastbuds - Fastberry with that same genetic defect, I dubbed it Tardberry.

Got 2 deformed plants, one just like the mother and the other looks like a sativa/hemp mutant with like no buds on it and it's now day 50. Pics are from a few days ago like day 46 or something.
