Hey all!!

I'm at Algarve in a summer vacation zone well known in Portugal. I'm at an island with no electricity and no canalised water! Ahah! It's an old school fishermans island with a few huts and illegal houses, working with gasoil generators and water pumped from the seA it's so cool! Today I showered with 3 5L bottles warmed by the sun... You'll never know how it feels like until you try.

I arrived yesterday after a 2h drive. I feeded my babies before I left and took some pictures.

I've also spotted the begining of new spider mite infestation so I used SMC on her again. The girl is shinning!

I haven't done any LST with her in a while so the apical stem is enjoying some vertical growth. When I get home Friday I'll do it again

aBB #1

Flushed with water for the second time. I'm going to chop her Friday. All the pistils in the main bud have retracted, and although she has only yellowed a couple of leafs so far I don't believe she's going to gain more bud weight. I also like my weed more on the up side.

Veg nutes with a touch of bloom.
I'm noticing a huge huge difference between this two aBB. This one had a much luster growth with a lot of shoots, a thicker stem and bigger leafs, all in half the time! The difference the good weather makes is very noticeable.

Same feed as aBB #2.
Smaller sized and generally weaker strain than auto-BlueBerry by Dutch Passion. Perhaps it was due to being planted in the same pot 1 week after.
I'm still very curious about the high effect as it's my only indica at the moment.

Your plants are looking great! You should park a VW Beetle behind the NL5xH so we can see if it is still noticeable behind that big monster!
Does the Blueberry that you're taking down on Friday have any showy colors? Can't tell from the pics.

Greetings, one and all.

Hey Hugo, wish you a wonderful weekend on the isle.

As promised, made the trip to the mountains and checked on my semi-guerilla grow.

Well, as with all "guerilla" grows, let's start with the mishaps
Lost one of the four, not sure what happened but it was simple gone, as if a tractor drove over it (it didn't, but it looked that way). Oh well, I could live with that (that's the "guerilla" half of the "semi-guerilla" grow). To make things worse, my labels (strain, dates, etc.) were all gone. Believe it or not, I couldn't remember which "bush" was "George" and which was "Barbara", so from this point on I'm guessing based on looks. Gladly, that's the end of the bad news.

Found the plants doing well, considering the "no-care" factor. Left to fend for themselves among olive trees, with little more than water, sun, and fresh air. They looked helathy, started flowering, and begging for food. I fed them a mild dose of Bud & Bloom and a shot of Cal/Mag. This is the second feeding their entire life. Vertical growth seems to have stopped, mostly at or around 2 meters. The one that gained the most height, but was starving is the JF#5 (I think that's the one), and here it is..

The second is (what I think) is the NL5xHaze. Not much vertical growth since last time, it is a little over the 1.5 meters it was a couple of weeks ago. Bushy and thick with budding sites, with a dominant cola..

Thirdly, and finally (sorry to say), what I think is the Big Bud?? The slowest to flower (it has just started), but the bushiest of all. It's just about 2 meters high..

All in all, I'm quite pleased with the way things are going. Again, this was an experiment to see what great genetics will do on their own, in God's care, as compared to the "too much lovin'" approach of the patio grow..

Needless to say, I'm impressed with the results so far. I believe if I decide to go all out (regular feeding and caring) on the guerilla approach, we can easily achieve the 5 meter goal and grow mosters :thumbs:

Thanks, Noods. Yup, that baby is one plant from a single Sensi Seeds Big Bud seed. I must admit, SS genetics are impressive. I will take a pic tonight of her sister growing in a pot on my patio, just for comparison. As a matter of fact, if Hugo is agreeable, I will post a pic of each of the NLH, JF5, and the BB on the patio for a side by side comaprison..?

Thanks to all the kind words! I really appreciate your comments and enthusiasm The VW beetle will be hidden behind the NL5xH until further notice ahah!

The aBB #1 is plain good old green noods. Well... green and brown from the late pistils.

Sorry to hear about that lost plant Ghabi. Those other 3 look great! Big and bold and green! Ofcourse I have a special favour on the NL5xH as she truly is magnificent and frondrous. You must be excited as you're bound to get more than 1Kg on them :thumbs:
