The late one gives the impression of being a heavier producer, we'll see :) she's a little yellow though, did you mind that already?

Indeed. If all goes well and I don't kill it before October, it should yield twice its younger sister, or about so.

Yeah, still struggling with the PH on that one ever since its over-nute stunt. I must admit, I've been gun shy with applying fertilizers to it ever since that incident, but I'm working on it now..

Oh I see :) you flushed it? What's the run-off pH you getting nowadays? you could do a foliar ...

On a side note I flush my plants every month to get a clean start and keep it high nutrient wise

My BioBizz bloom ended a few days ago, so as decided before I got myself some of that pH perfect Bloom by AN... And doesn't it work just fine? Measured pH after adding energizers to water: 6,31 on point!
Been meaning to get me some PK as well so I grabbed a bottle of 13-14 and started it on aBB and Mohan Ram. I'll see if it really works as "they" say it does :)

Yup, and yup. I flushed it initially to clear out the nutes, but then started facing PH problem (as low as 4), seemingly due to my Sea Grow NPK . Those two factors forced me to cut back on the nutes, maybe too much so. I do foliar regularly, that's what has saved me so far. I have never measured run-off, seems like I need to go that extra step.

I meant to ask you, do you ever water with just pure water. I got the impression that you always ammend your water with humates, 'zymes, and such?

Been watching development on that side, and yes the PH perfect line sounds great. I've been trying to get some, but they do not ship to my locale. Guess I'm due for another quick trip to Amsterdam, maybe will pick some up there.. :D

Look forward to your feedback after trial.

Well eheh, I flush them with tap water straight. PH is around 7,5 and 8. Right after flushing I use 5L of pH'd water at 6's with the energisers and the nutes and 1 or 2 drops of dish washer detergent :) it's just like resetting the soil to my preference and they seem to like it.

I'm a tad confused about how you got the pH value of 4 if you don't read the run-off? Do you use a soil probe?

Thank you for sharing your flush method. Until recently, the only measurement I had was a soil PH Probe, the one that many on AFN recommended. It was really just for good measure, as I had no reason to suspect any PH issues- I use clean media, do not reuse pots or soil, moderate feeding, etc. Once I received my probe and started testing the pots, I noticed some of them (not all, mind you) measuring at 4-5..!? You could tell something wasn't quite right by the look of the leaves, and PH seems to have bee the culprit. Since then, I've tried to get my hands on what I can for PH management, so I got some PH up that I'm using sparingly, and just got a PH meter so I could measure the water and nute mix. That's when I found out that my water PH drops from about 8.5 to 6 or so after adding the Sea Grow nutes. The weird part is that the PH of the pot goes even below that..!!? you'd think (to my newbie mind, at least) that if it's at 6+ as the lowest liquid rate, the media shouldn't go below that, right..?

Anyhow, seems like I need to go to the next step, measuring runoff and comparing to intake and see what is happening, right..?
