New Grower Hugo's Backyard!

So last night I had my first try and topping an MJ for merrier colas and that was not how expected it to go. You can have a look in this thread:

https://www.autoflower.org/f24/need-help-topping-skunk-1-sensi-seeds-8117.html

Main doubts was about the resistance of the plant after chopping of at node two. The main stem just seems too big and strong for those tiny fan leafs. So after some hesitations I opted for the safer approach at node four. Felt a bit pussy I assume 0_o

I use lst to get multiple colas, works great.

Maybe I'll give it a try, since I've been reading that suppercroping makes buds thinner than lst :) and it's just plain.

LST = fat buds

At what time do you start lst your autos?

I feel just like a newb!

I just run into the feeding chart of BioBizz products, I never thought about it to exist and it's allways been there! I mean, just now!

shame... :o

It's funny how it works on 11 week basis; I wonder...

Shopping and Feeding day:

Mixed in 5L of O2 aerated comercial bottled water ph5.8 the following:

5g Piranha
5ml Enzimes+ (NEW: Advanced Natural Power) - Anti-oxidants, Fulgic and Humic acids
1ml Flavor (NEW: Atami) - Molasses
9ml BioHeaven
3ml Alg-A-Mic
2,5ml Bio-Bloom (NEW: BioBizz) - 1/2 of minimum dose on BioBizz chart (TESTing)
5ml Fish-Mix

Note: This quantities are the values on BioBizz chart (substituted Top-Max with Enzimes+ and Flavor)

Used 2,5L of this mix directly in NL5xHaze.

Mixed 1,5L of CLEAN bottled water (non aerated) to dilute in the other 2,5L that was left and used it in Auto-BB and the rest of it in NL5xHaze (because the pot is so big!). This way my baby auto got half of minimum recommended dosage by Nuts producer. Think it's good but I have to review the procedure with the O2 aeration of water.

Pics right after watering:

Thank you all for the attention. Feel free to comment and input. :)

I haven't ever lst'd an auto, they were always small enough. I lst my photos as soon as they have a few nodes. No real formula.

Just a word of caution on using the Biobizz feeding schedule. I'm sure their recommendations are for photo plants as none of the nutrients manufacturers have yet to publish an auto feeding schedule to my knowledge. Generally speaking autos are a bit more nute sensitive than photos and usually require less. Usually half strength, maybe 3/4 is sufficient.

Thank you Muddy for that word up. From what I understand they have different info on the chart and on the individual bottles. I think it's because of the simbiose one get's with all the products, so they recomend minimum dosage on the charts. Besides that, I took care of it when I mixed non-nuted water to my nuted-water in order to dilute the mix to almost half. She seems to be loving it. No signs of nute-burn! :)

I had to come up with a plan to deal with the two different genes I have. Even though they're mainly sativas and both are hybrids, I understand the peculiar nature of ruderalis. NL5xHaze is more demanding than Auto-BB, in terms of nutes at least. So I chose to do the mix for both together. Feed one and then dilute the rest and feed the other. The only thing I can think is not solved yet is the O2. I had O2 pumped to the 5L bottle and they I mixed non-aerated water loosing 2/3 of O2 strenght with it. My pump is quite weak (for 50L aquarium) so a T section is not the option. I'll have to switch the stone from one bottle to the other closer to feeding time. It will be ok because I understand it takes a while for O2 to dissipate from water.

Hope it wasn't confusing at all.

One other end-result of the last feed seems to be both babys are not attracting any white flies. They seem to be repelling the lil buggers. Tonight I'm going to neem them again pre-emptively aswell as my other plants.

Once again, thanks for the input, Love to have some company for the ride. It's being pretty smooth.

Piggy hey! :)

I never LST before, so I'm a bit overwhelmed. I need to picture what I want before I LST. Endless possibilities :D

Just gently bend the little plant over and steak or tie it down. Every time new shoots grow tie them down too. Soon she'll be a bush beast! It's super simple and nothing to over think.
