Hey incipit,

Welcome on board :)
As you have seen I had exactly that problem with my grow. No sun for the first month. What I learned from that situation, that it was better to keep my plants indoors in the warm. Low-lights and warm temps is not as bad as cold and low-lights.

Recently I've been reading some articles to compensate low-lights with small solar panels conected to the soil in the pot. But it's a bit more elaborate :)

Hey Hugo ! Great grow man, I've been following this topic since the first page. Mainly because I am doing almost the same grow outdoors with one DP autoBB and one RPK. Its obvious that the auto BB needs a lot of light but since it is raining here for weeks the plant is still kinda small at day 28. Please keep the journal updated :buds:

heyhugo, how are you brother? looking good for some buddage!:dance2: also curious about the electrofing the soil with solar panels?? can you provide a link to one of the articles?

Hey astro, all is good, thank you. I sure can give you a link: https://www.autoflower.org/f16/how-solar-root-stimulator-can-help-grow-healthy-plants-9056.html

I'll be doing some testing on this when the winter season starts in Portugal, as I'll move indoors to some CFL's for starters.

thanks for the link mate!! good info! i like things to be logical! +rep for the read!

Yeah! It's a big plus for me too!

I don't know how it processes. I don't think anybody knows, as about now. It's all conjectures and hipotheses really, but it sure looks interesting!
Thanks for the rep astro, It was nothing much though, just some copy pasting.

you deserve it! for the link and the response time!!:smokebuds:where i am brother, your winter is like my summer! the climate in northern maine is very much the same as norway or sweden winter here can and has hit 50 below zero f. i have only seen 35 below f.

It's cool, thank ya! :)

Uau! That's really cold! It definitely deserves a try out! I've found it a bit hard to find small solar panels like those in the article. The company producing them is no longer active. I think it's best to go into an electrical speciality store and look around. Otherwise if you find something on the web I might have missed you can give me a shout out at :)

I did a feed yesterday but I wasn't Happy with it:

On 2L water:
4ml biobloom
2ml fishmix
6ml Bioheaven
4ml Alg-a-mic
1ml molasses
1ml enzymes

Reading pH after it dropped to 6.2. It was unacceptable so I mixed this 2L into the other 3L I had in my 5L bottle. pH was now 6.8 and dose was almost 1/2.

I took 2L out of the 5L and added 2ml biobloom to feed the blueberry auto. The other 3L I added 1ml fish mix to give to the NL#5xHaze. So dosage was now 3/4 aprox.

Just now, I gave them a foliar feed with Fish-Mix and Alg-A-Mic to finish it up. They responded very well to this last week, so I'm keeping it. The house stinks though... so I just lighted some incense... but the smell still lingers over it... strong shit...

Anyway... I need to get a proper base for my plants. Even though things didn't go as planned I'm thinking it was a good thing to have a common nutrient base for both of them, and then adding what's needed for each seperately. I guess everyone does it like that... it was just me hanging behind, but I'm on track now :)

Sounds good Hugo. I'm sure they'll forgive your little mix-up. Are you spraying them down again with plain pH'd water (better distilled water) once in a while to remove residual fish and kelp? Don't forget that.
I always wait with the foliars till a day or a half a day before they get their normal feeding/watering. You know, when the pots are quite dried out and their roots are searching and all? It's just my way of thinking, but the way I like to see it, they're really hungry then and will suck in the foliar with more eagerness. Just a thought, I'm not saying this is what you should do too, I'm just putting it out there.
