Nice! I have to question my sanity. I have concluded that I am nuts and I grow things that make me normal.

I think the mentality of an auto-grower is in direct correlation with today's society. An auto-grower wants, no needs, to experience anything new and the fact that it happens in 1/3 the time of a photo-period satisfies our gotta have it now attitude. So to sum up, "want it, need it, have to have it right now."

For my own satisfaction however, there are other reasons as well. I look at the lifecycle of autoflowers as natures very own time lapse photography plant. Everyday there is a noticeable difference in your plants condition from the day before. Cause and effect is typically apparent within hours not days or weeks. To me the gratification is in the end result, like all the flowers from my true tropical hibiscus. I don't have the time or space to dedicate to a full sized photo, but I can give 80 to 100 days to a couple of 3 ft tall plants. It just works for me.
