Canna is canna. Other than lighting changes, not keeping mother plants and not cloning, it grows just like photos.
I grew photos for a long time before giving autos another shot 2 years ago. I worried about the needed changes. Honestly, the more I treat them like I always did, the better the result. In the summer, I run autos inside, photos out. But everyone gets the same food, etc. Give them a good first 3 or 4 weeks, temp, rh, nutrition. You can't stall flowering like with photos.
Most of the things I've run across on YT that are really focused on autos, usually has to to more with genetics and breeding.
