OK well I have been doing some cloning . With my Mars 96 reflector .. I have no other lights so it is what it is lol. Well they been under the light for days now. The light less than 3 inches away . No burn from the light . It was by total accident this happened . Folks hold onto your buds!! No commercials here!! Winter window film!!! It really works the light has been laying on the plastic with no burn holes nothing !!

So during bud imma put the film over my leds on the bottom and see how it goes. All I know is there is no burn on the clones at all. So why would it be different on the bud? Shouldn't be. I'm all in lol

I did at the beginning brother . And I see everyone getting their leds to close and saying they burning or bleaching em. So by accident I think I found a remedy. Guess we will find out .

I think it may be blocking out certain spectrum . Might be worth looking into for clones and seedlings would not do it unless space becomes an issue. Imo
What type and %

Mars lights Durban poison and a couple others. Man I dunno bout the spectrum but those lil buggers are tops up and sucking up every bit of that light . I'm hoping for the best. Imma try it why not ya know . I'll know in a few more days how good they gonna be growing . But they got roots already from the light and are doing ok so a clear piece of plastic shouldn't do to awful much to the spectrum Mars has glass on theirs so clear plastic hopefully isn't that much different
